Banning Books In Public Libraries 소설 & 이야기

The ribbon just had to be cut off with a scissors. Everyone began to step into the block. The Yedfund was so spacious and wide. It had so many shelf's lined up from one side to the other and then books slotted in. Students began to search the books. Since it was only the grand opening, they were allowed to read books for free. Normally they would be paying for their stay right now and another is that, a book isn't permitted to go out of the door. If that happens, the camera might spot them and then an alarm would go off putting the person at a great disadvantage.

Carlos and I packed up our stuff and made the walk of shame behind the librarian as she marched to her desk. "Your IDs," she demanded and Carlos and I handed them over to her. She wrote our names on her laptop. It was a nightmare come true. “The both of you are banned from the library for two weeks! Now leave!" Carlos and I walked out. I wanted to blame this all on him, but I was the one who wanted to listen to him. Well, it was too late to cry over spilled milk. “I'm sorry I got you kicked out, Hannah." I shrugged.

I asked stretching my right hand intending to collect the Red colored hard cover book, it was named Register, a book where all records of borrowed and Returned books are kept so without Signing on the book I won't be allowed to leave the library with the book. She Hesistated a little before she finally gave the book to me. " Still, you shouldn't be borrowing novels every time like this " she said and I shrugged " Whatever " I said as I took the book and signed my name after which I left the library. Mina being a bully is a Well known fact but I can't possibly let her bully me as we are Mates. ' Just because she's a library Prefect doesn't give her the right to bully me '

But Grams, already a century old, suggested that the woman needed a man to occupy her time. “Don’t yeh worry none, because when the woman said she had a husband, Grams had a solution for that also.” Papa Dean grinned at the group gathered around him. “Perhaps a boyfriend? Or a girlfriend? Maybe both? Find a fecking hobby. Discouraging children from reading is the real problem.” The crowd roared with laughter as several people remembered the incident. “From then on, any book that people were objecting to, Grams would donate several copies to local libraries.” Seanair chuckled. “Including her private library in the Manor.”

Some people said it could be used to kill witches, although it was not proven. At least I knew werewolves were not allowed to hunt them down. Big, towering shelves displaying large volumes of books lined every counter. My fingers roamed over each book cover, hard and exceptionally crafted, used to protect the pages within. I had loved reading since childhood, sneaking into the corners of libraries at the Bloodmoon Pack, getting chased far too often for not paying the library f*e, which made me wary of going back each time I wanted to. "Over here." I heard his voice, buried beneath the presence of the tall shelves.

“Under no condition should any of these books leave the library, and the kids aren’t permitted access to this place either.” “Huh?!” My lips parted and I blinked. “That’s it?!” “Yes, that’s it.” Dante shrugged. “While I trust you to handle my books properly, I don’t trust kids around them. As a book lover yourself, I’m sure you understand why.” Oh, I understood why. I learned that kids and books don’t mix well the hard way. I bought a new book I had been waiting for its release for months, left it on my bed and I went to have my bath.

And the list got halved, there were only two who didn't give books back to the library, a young girl and a mid aged man. She asked the librarian for the last favour, she wanted him to give the personal information of those two members like their house address or mobile number. The librarian refused to tell at first he said it's not in our policy to share the personal information with others. Jenny tried to give a good tip to the librarian and there he couldn't refuse. Take care of yourselves, my readers !! Tell me what you like, tell me when I was wrong :-)

And how had it survived? That thought was disturbing. It was clear based on my own research that packs united on this front; an unprecedented, unanimous front in which there had been little to no debate. They had agreed that Nyllan was an outcast, a threat, and notably, that his entire life’s work should be destroyed. In modern times, this would have been viewed as censorship. Controversial in the extreme. But one hundred years ago? Humans had banned books from their own schools for lesser reasons.

She tucks her hanging ID as she speaks, "You know, this library is going to be closed soon." "That's what's troubling you?" I ask. "Yes, the Student Council has been getting a lot of complaints about how this library have become a messy spot.." Tiffany explains. "People only come here to hide between the shelves, and smoke, or drink, or even kiss and do PDA! They're disrespecting this place's sacracy!" Seeing her delicate white skin flushes in frustration, all I could do is nod. "That's unacceptable." "Yeah. So, when the librarian, Ms. Erika, assigned the Library Friends to help her put things straight," Tiffany's shoulders jerk. "Some of us—have snapped pictures, catching people right-hande
