Banning Books In Public Libraries 소설 & 이야기

I didn’t have to raise a finger to fight any battles, they did so on behalf without even being asked. I smiled at that as I logged in the book codes for the new arrivals that had been sent to the library earlier today. Even though I’d been banned from ever holding a student government position, I still liked to volunteer in the library because it kept my nerdy antics in check. Being idle in a school setting felt unnatural to me, so volunteering kept me sane. I had just put in the last code for books I was checking in, so I got up from behind the desktop computer and headed towards the tables where books were sprawled out instead of being returned after use.

In fact, the complete opposite. It was an erotic novel, one about a young male intern who fell in love with his female boss. He skimmed over it and found words like ‘spanking’, ‘handcuffs’, and ‘bonding’, which he was pretty sure wasn’t the wholesome kind of bonding. His face heated up just by reading it. “Why the heck does the library have novels like this?” He complained. “Because they’re a fun library, duh. What do you think the moms do while the children listen to fables?”

"That wasn't magic, science, remember?" " What are you? An engineering major?" "No a medicine major" "You don't look like a nerd to me" " That's stereotypical," he looked at the book." are you reading or not?" "I'm taking it home," I said, scanning the first page of the book. "You can't" I looked up at him. "Why not? Most libraries give their customers privileges to borrow a book, don't they?" He sighed. "Just do as I say. Drop the book when you are done, if you know what's good for you"

Megumi smiles and wipes her dripping tears (Don”t they realize how dangerous the situation they face is? “Anyway,” Megumi said. “You have to give her some AR,” Megumi told Alfi. “But, if I do that, the book can be labeled as 18+. And the worst case is the book can be considered offensive by FPI (a group of bigots, don”t ask me about what religion, please. I don”t want to have a deal with the court anymore) or such! The Author can be killed by them!” Alfi said in a panic.

I paid for it at the counter and the cashier wrapped it in a recycled paper bag with the brand of their store. "Hehehe, I have a lot to read." Misha came to me smiling and carrying the new sets of W*****d-published books that I didn't hesitate to look at whatever they were. For sure, gangsters are the theme again. "You know, if there is an award for the most W*****d books, you will probably win, your library is all W*****d," I promise here. This is also abnormal, did he put his encyclopedias in the warehouse and then replace them with useless books?

Well I went around to go look for a sit I wanted a spot where they were less people like the library is not crowded but I just want to be alone in a space. I found a spot it was like a blind spot and I liked it now that my spot is settled I need to go and look for the books I am hoping to find. I didn't know where to start from or what to look for, and it seems like I need help so I went over to the front desk I know they usually have someone there that helps foresee the library like a librarian or so. When I moved to go ask the librarian questions about the kind of books I am looking for I saw two kids that are in their teen age locking lips and almost going naked. Ewwww can't they wait to

"It's the fault of the books he reads. His mind, being as deformed as his form, processes knowledge the wrong way. I propose he stops reading." "Agreed." Corpa nodded and glared at Roydo. "From today you are forbidden from entering the royal library. If I ever see you step foot there again, I will have you executed.” Roydo's horrified expression told Donton how much of a punishment it was. Later in the privacy of his chamber, Donton tried to plead with Corpa but he refused to listen to a word. So Roydo was barred from the library. But not from knowledge. Donton began sneaking books to his room. He was determine the boys thirst for knowledge would not be quenched.

My fingers hovered over spines until I found what I wanted: a thick book bound in dark leather, the title stamped in faded gold. WOLF TRADITIONS & BONDS: A GUIDE FOR COUNCIL AND HOUSEHOLDS I lifted it off the shelf and stared at it for a full five seconds, because no part of me enjoyed the fact that this existed like it was a homeowner’s association handbook. I set it on the table and opened it. The first page had a handwritten warning in neat block script: THIS TEXT IS FOR PACK USE. DO NOT REMOVE FROM LIBRARY. Beneath it, someone had scribbled, smaller:

“I tried. Immediately after the meeting, I went to the library and the five copies available were taken. They even had to write names of those who would be needing them down and my number is certainly not coming till next seven days.” “What's so special about the history books?” “You didn't get it? It's not the history book that is important, it is the way Calla had used it today that it. A lot of people felt the impact of the book. And yes, they came to read it because she drew value to it. I was going to tell you about a business that could stem from this” “Let's talk as we go.” They left the room and headed out to the garden. “We can make more copies of that book, but this time a summariz

I said hesitantly. She raised eyebrows more, curiosity was now etched on her face as she stared at me intently. "Mind sharing the reason why you were so shock that you even have to shout and curse inside the library? You don't mind that, do you?" I ended up having a warning card from the librarian that day. It says that one more offense from and I'll be banned inside the library for days. Depends on the offense that I'll do. I came home in an extremely bad mood. The new driver that Logan hired for me was already there when I was out if the university, so I got home really early.
