ROGER “Boss, Bullet was spotted in a bank earlier this morning.” Zain said, showing Roger a photo of the man, who wore a black hooded jacket, which covered his face from hidden cameras. “That fucking piece of shit!p I want you to send some men to find him and bring him to me as soon as you can!” Roger growled at his personal bodyguard. “I'm on it, boss." Zain said as he bolted out of Roger's office, immediately.

"My thousand wolves want to fight with you against Big Boss, Prince Nathan. Tonight is the perfect opportunity to do that when we already plotted everything." Roger said back. "What do you mean you guys have plotted everything?" If my instinct was right about what he just said, why do they still need me? I'm just a no-one with no experience in leading a battle. Roger suddenly waved his hands behind me. When I turned my face around, I was surprised when the daughter he was referring to was the female wolf who worked as one of the servers in my dad's restaurant. That explains her familiar eyes. They resembled Roger's.

I scrolled to Roger Teller’s contact and stared at it for exactly two seconds before I hit call. He answered on the second ring, voice low and sleepy but alert in the way only certain people were alert. The kind who didn’t wake up confused. They woke up ready. “Carter,” he said. “Tell me you’re awake,” I replied. Roger made a sound that was half sigh, half laugh. “I’m awake. You’re the one calling after—” there was a pause while he checked the time, “—a questionable hour. Are we dealing with a boyfriend problem or a felony problem?”

As I got closer to the throne room, I noticed that the guards were also rushing into the throne room, as it seemed urgent. I rushed to the door and opened it wide, only to see that Rodger had already been held by two guards, and Alpha Killian was standing just a few inches away from him, looking so angry. "I dare you to repeat those words," he said to Rodger, who did not even flinch. "I am not scared of you. Stop trying to force me to fear you," Rodger said to Alpha Killian as I stood there in utter shock. "How am I supposed to stop this? I feel like I am too late and there's nothing I can actually do here."

Boss said calmly Roger stands up " I'm not going to give up , I'll try again tomorrow" " No " " What " " This careless move you made has given Liam a hint that he is being targeted, so there won't be a next time " Roger looks at him confused " so we're not ending him again " " Oh you will end him but when he least expect it " Boss said a sly smile on his face. The door opens and Victor storms inside visibily angry. " I now know you are a failure" Roger glares at him " it isn't my fault , his stupid bodyguard took the bullet for him "

Once she explains what I saw, I should be fine. I lay on the bed and as soon as I close my eyes I hear a voice in my head. 'Hello Silas, bout damn time I got to meet you..' What the fu.ck was that??
