"Thank you all for coming. I will now do the Alpha ceremony. Will the new beta and third in command please come to the podium? Also, I will need my wife, and the old beta, and third in command. Will Ethal Raven please come forward? " One of the omegas is standing to the side with 4 golden goblets on a plate. The Alpha waves him over. He goes and stands between Ethal and alpha Miguel. Everyone goes to stand next to their respective elder. Ethal Raven walks up to the omega and take one of the goblets and a dagger that was on the plate. She doesn't look like a werewolf so I smell the air and realize that Ethal is a witch. You can smell the magic rolling off her in waves.

“It has been my honor to watch you grow into young adults. I hope your time at this school has prepared you for whatever you wish to accomplish.” She relinquished the podium to the valedictorian, Heather Woodward. Heather was the first Beta valedictorian of our school. She applied to three Ivy League universities and was waiting for answers. Her speech touched on diversity, persistence, and the rewards of hard work. After she was finished speaking, Amy and I initiated a standing ovation. Next, Principal Jones introduced the guest speaker, Alex Wilson. As Alex walked onto the stage, everyone stood and applauded. The professor ignored any discontent and said, “You all have ten minutes, no more than three to a team, and one of you has to be an alpha.” That last part was met with more groaning but the professor just sat back and took his phone out as everyone scrambled to find a partner. "Entering the ballroom is Alpha Thomas Strange, Beta Hal Walker, and Gamma Freddie McIntosh." The Alpha walks into the room, nose to the air, a scent catching his attention, and like a missile on a mission, he walks up to a petite brunette in a gold dress, and the word "Mate" leaves their mouths together. The crowd stays quiet, waiting to see if the Beta and Gamma find their mates. Which they do seconds later, the entire crowd going chaotic in celebration. I find it difficult accepting that, this is the face behind that extremely rude and condescending voice! But that effect, only last for a moment until his harsh words is thrown at me again, snapping me back to consciousness. "One of the rule of this pack, Omega, is never to keep the Alpha waiting!" he snaps. "Such a show-off" I thought. Staring at him blankly, I apologize. He nods. Clapping his hands, the door opened again. A middle age man probably in his 40's, walks in with the Beta, Darren. "This is doctor Dathan,Omega. He will be in charge of your investigation." says the Alpha.

Nobody has ever been made an Alpha Luna before. “I, Darius Colt Barnett, hereby pledge to share my role as Alpha with Diamond Joy Stone, making her Alpha Luna from today, and for all days, until she so chooses to relinquish the role.” Darius slices his palm with the dagger, allowing his blood to trickle into the chalice for me to drink. “Diamond, do you pledge to be the Alpha Luna of the Running River Pack?”

She smiled and sat down on the two-seater chair. “So what’s your next move?” I asked because I was being curious, and wanted to know what she was planning. She picked up a pen and the diary I had been seeing her for a lot of time. “Alpha Rowan would be affected by the loss of his support from other Alpha. He planned to become Alphas of Alphas because he had invited Alpha Damon to the pack house the other time. We can trust that dream, and every Alpha in the pack will come under a treaty.” She smirked.

Even Blaze stalled, his gaze jumping to Ash. "Ryder, this Beta is getting in the way!" Blaze argued, his voice still tinged with anger. Ash's icy, unyielding gaze raked over Blaze, then Zane, then Micah, before finally settling on me. Finally he spoke. “I’m not sure where to begin. Actually, I do. There is something important I need to say before this goes any further. I, Rowen Druid, future Alpha of Moonlight Pack, retract my rejection of Omega Chastity Bloomfield as my mate and Luna.” Rowen said with strength, and pride.

Once she is seated, I step back closer to Zale, he gives my back a single sweep before he takes my hand and gives it a squeeze. “Thank you.” Alpha Hawthorn says, taking the seat beside his wife and pulling her into his arms. He seems to compose himself as the last man steps to stand behind him, a large metal briefcase in his hand. “It is a bit of a shock still; you really do look so much like our Juniper. Where are my manners, let me introduce all of us, I am Alpha Gerald Hawthorne, this is my mate Luna Seraphina Hawthorne, and this is our Beta Solomon Chambers.”
