She kept staring at the man and suddenly noticed the family crest on its bow, where she encountered a familiar symbol, she had only seen in classic vampire movies. “Why is this sort of scenario giving me a vampire movie vibe?” And she was about to check herself the ankh circa out of morbid curiosity, but when she touched it, something pricked her finger and caused it to bleed.

Henry's POV I closed my eyes shut as I anticipated that painful moment when my head would fly off my neck but then... “Unhand him," I heard a voice say causing the men to stop. I opened my eyes and I saw the men looking all scared and afraid. What is causing them to act this way? My eyes slowly landed on the man who had spoken and my eyes dilated in shock. Victor Blade! The most notorious and dangerous assassin ever, who is known for hunting fellow werewolves and other supernatural creatures like vampires and witches. What is he doing here? Is he perhaps the same assassin at the alley? Is he also after the bounty??!

We stayed silent for a while as we wound down the streets of Moon City, the night life shown in the bar lights streaming through the skies. "What is the blade that he was talking about?", I asked after a while of silence. "The blade is an ancient weapon that can be used to kill young vampires", Jacob responded, his eyes focused on the road, his hands relaxed on the steering wheel. "Young vampires?", I pondered. Did he mean people like Kane? "Do you mean newly turned?", I asked. "The ones that just underwent the change?"

Blade’s shoulders slumped with helplessness and grief. He knew Jake for a long time. He’d been a strong man and a skilled warrior. Few could cross paths with him and manage to do so much damage. His gasping words echoed through Blade’s mind. Vampire, he’d gasped, choking on his blood as he collapsed in the foyer. D-Droves of them. Sharp Armor. Help!

EVANORA’S POV “Even if I’m a vampire?” The question left my lips before I could stop them. At my words, Blade’s eyes subtly darkened and his brows narrowed lightly in confusion. I desperately tried to search them for something, anything at all that conveyed hate or malice. However, Blade only rolled his eyes, void of emotions, and gave out a deep genuine laugh. “Well, that’s going to be a deal breaker. Cause then, I’d have to drive a stake through your heart, love.” He whispered it and although those words caused a cold shiver down my spine, it didn’t take away the sultry appeal they had.

Suddenly, a figure darted out from behind a building, moving so fast that it was just a blur. Helena reacted on instinct, whipping out her silver blade and charging towards the vampire. The two engaged in a fierce battle, their movements too quick for the human eye to follow. Helena felt the cold, dead fingers of the vampire closing around her throat, squeezing tighter and tighter until she could feel the life being choked out of her. My wolf surged forward, the edge of my control fracturing. I felt the bones in my arms strain, claws splitting through flesh. My vision flared crimson. “Venom!” Blade barked. “Stay with me!” But it was too late. The beast wanted blood. I hit the nearest hybrid so hard its metal spine cracked. My claws ripped through its chest, tearing wires like entrails. I didn’t stop until it stopped twitching.

Nonetheless, one must not forget their undead nature. The vampires that were running after Zephyr were Blizzard Vampires, and they possessed great, icy powers. In other words, ice was their main element. Zephyr quickly unsheathed Draken, engaging his Focus. The sword glowed and shimmered in his palm, “Taste lightning!” Zephyr screamed as the wind kicked up beneath his feet, accompanied by a streak of electricity. Zephyr was preparing his attack stance. With Zephyr at the center, his flurry attack rushed to them like a blossoming flower, striking outwards at everything.
