She so wanted the figure of Alpha Harlan Stuward who had always avoided her since the appearance of Alpha Female Sicily Sniders. "You will bear all my pain, Blind!" Rhena continued to talk to herself while scanning the dark wilderness. Her body sensors picked up movement accompanied by anger and resentment, but there was also warmth.

Ghosts were harder to fight than enemies with faces, and whoever they were, they were skilled enough to keep me blind. And I wasn’t used to being blind. Every one of my devices had been disabled, fried from the inside out, as if someone had reached through the circuits and ripped out their hearts. Hell, even the security systems at Euphoria—and every other business tied to Dane and the pack—had been locked down tighter than a vault. It left me with gaps, blind spots where I used to have clear vision. Blind spots that made my skin crawl.

"So, I have a theory that something malicious happened inside our school that made the blind man that angry... to the point he was ghosting the school." He was bathing in his own blood, as he tried picking up a book placed on the floor. It was old and big. He tried to sit, hardly moving because of his blood lost.

I laid on the ground as I did not have enough strength to sit. As Hellenora had told me, I started humming the same song the fairies were singing. My breaths were uneven as the blood was draining from my body. But I knew I had to be patient. It really hurt like a bitch. I started to feel as if my heart beat was getting slower by every passing second. I did not close my eyes, even though my eyelids were heavy. I wanted to see everything with my eyes. The frame my eyes could see, it started to get darker and blurry. Soon, as If I could see the dark clouds gathering around me. At the same time, so did the blind lady's, Elijah's, and Psyren's. I looked over and noticed a book being held in one of the men, that came with Elijah, hands. It, too, shined brightly. Gasp and murmurs erupted in the room. The blind lady took a step towards me, smiling.

The driver seemed to be skilled, he'd stopped right before the car hit me. My body froze and I felt my legs go numb, refusing to move from where I stood. The headlights flashed before my eyes, right as I dropped to the ground and I blurred from exhaustion. As darkness crept aro und me, I noticed a shadow approaching me.. “Are you alright?” His husky voice sounded as my eyes finally shut close.. Chapter 3

Still hesitant I stepped one more step back and asked, "And you expect me to believe you?" I focused on her movements and quickly sprinted towards the other side to run away as this is my only chance to escape this place. I seriously can't believe anything she said because I have no record of anything after passing out and being sightless is like a curse to me since I have no idea where the door is but then my blur vision saw something opening which I assumed is the exit so I hastened my steps but collided into someone harshly.

The realization that my blindness could prevent me from protecting her should her ex return left me feeling void, a bitter taste of defeat rising in my throat. I would not allow my lack of sight to render me powerless in difficulty. I would get my eyesight and watch was whoever trying to get Mousey myself.
