" He passed a file to Alex. Alex took it and opened it. "And sir, here's the bullet of the gun aimed at you.." He gave Alex a plastic bag with a bullet in it. Alex collected it and smirked. "Fine, but I want the secret spy in the institute in no time.." He ordered and they will bowed gently. "You can leave now.." He dispersed them. He stood up and looked at the plastic bag of bullet and then smirked again. "This bullet is connected to my past. Who's the secret spy and what does he/she know about my past.." He mumbled and took a sip from the glasscup.

The air was heavy with the scent of parchment and dust, the large shelves stretching high up to the ceilings, stacked with books too old to even remember their authors. I ran my fingers along the spines of the books, scanning the titles. Ancient Clan Wars. The First Kingdoms. Blood and Silver: The History of Alpha Dynasties. None of these were what I needed. I sighed, moving deeper into the archives. There had to be something here. I spent hours flipping through books, scanning old texts, piecing together fragments of history that barely made sense. Just when I was about to give up, my fingers brushed against a large, worn-out book hidden behind several others.

But still I couldn't shake the possibility that maybe Camille had something to do with this. I whispered, "I have something to show you." His eyes were tired yet seeking as he gazed at me. Reaching behind the line of hardcovers until my fingers found the latch, I got up and moved over to the bookcase. A tiny compartment opened with a click. When I returned to him, I placed it in his lap. He looked at it. "What is this?" I whispered, "The authentic documents the one Camille has been hiding from you” He gasped in shock springing up…..

It wasn't even evidence in the traditional sense. It was twenty-eight years of a man's conscience arranged alphabetically. The realization settled heavily over me as I looked around. Shelves covered every wall. Archive boxes stretched from floor to ceiling. Labels marked years, names, locations and categories. Arthur had not hidden random fragments here. He had hidden an entire history. And histories were dangerous. Far more dangerous than secrets. A secret could be explained. A history had to be understood. Lucian stepped forward first. His flashlight swept slowly across the shelves.
