Broken Promises The Movie นิยาย & เรื่องราว

The moment it closed, the photo frame that had hung in the entryway for eight years shook loose and crashed onto the tile floor, shattering into pieces. I crouched down and stared at the broken glass. That was our photo from our first date in Sicily. Dominic had knelt on the beach in front of a cross and sworn that every year on this day, no matter what happened, he'd ignore everything else and spend our anniversary with me alone. But ever since Mia appeared, he'd even forgotten what day it was. I threw the broken glass into the trash without expression. The glass had cut through our faces in the photo. I didn't hesitate. I tossed it all out with the garbage.

"I have made up my mind, Senorita, and you are leaving. That's final." "I promise I will never try to find your identity. Please don't send me awa…" "Never make a promise if you can't keep them…because when you break a promise, you break a heart, and I'm afraid that the heart which will break will be yours.", He responded, cutting me in between. "Please…" "No. I have already made up my mind."

“I told you I wanted to know everything about you, remember? I think I told you I meant every word I said. I meant every promise I made you.” “Promises are meant to be broken, Zachary,” I said acidly. “I waited fourteen years for you to keep your promise of ever coming back.” It was true. A big part of me was hurt that it took him long enough to come back into my life. That part stopped believing he ever would. “I am one guy who would die first before I break a promise, baby girl,” he said. He took a deep, labored breath. “You don’t know how difficult my life had been, so don’t judge me.”

Promise replied, pressing her face against Mama’s shoulder, inhaling the scent of woodsmoke and palm oil that no city perfume could ever erase. Elder Bamidele cleared his throat. His voice, though weaker, still carried across the square. “You broke the oath. You left. And yet… you did not die.” Promise pulled away from Mama and faced him. His beard had thinned, his hands trembled slightly as he leaned on his staff, but his gaze still sought to pierce her. “I did not die,” Promise said evenly. “Because fear was the only curse. And I refused to wear it.” The crowd had gathered — children peeking from behind their mothers’ wrappers, young men standing on tiptoe, old women whispering into each o

I hadn't been looking at the camera but away and I liked the way the moon lit up just the right features. Below my picture, I began to type and felt my heart begin to pour out. "When I told you don't tonight I lied about what I meant. I meant don't leave, don't go fuck some other girl, don't go breaking my heart, don't give me a reason to turn my back, don't make promises you can't keep, don't lie to me..." Sighing I erased all of that and just hit send, sometimes things were better left unsaid.

Georgia's tears stopped her from finishing her words. But whatever she has said was enough for me to understand why she was like this. Wrapping my arms around her body once more, I stroked her back softly. I had never been in such a situation but I didn't need to be there to understand how much betrayal hurt. “There there Georgia. People are shitty sometimes, I promise you, you'll find better.” I muttered, pulling her closer as she shuddered in soft sobs. As much as this marriage was fake, seeing her breaking down in my arms makes me want to reassure her.

Completely. “Always.” Noah tilted his head. “But where are you going?” Damian’s eyes filled. And I had never seen him like that before. Never. “I’ll come back,” he lied gently. And I knew it was a lie. But Noah didn’t. “Promise?” he asked. Damian hesitated. Just a second too long. Then he whispered: “Promise.” My chest tore open. Because I knew— that promise was already broken. The officers pulled him away.

I opened it anyway. Video file. Three minutes long. Filmed in what looked like a motel room. Cheap. Anonymous. The kind of place that takes cash and doesn't ask questions. Brock appeared on screen. He looked terrible. Hair wild. Face gaunt. Eyes hollow with exhaustion and rage. Scratches on his face from running through wilderness. Clothes torn and dirty. "Hello, Bethany." His voice was hoarse. Barely controlled. "I know you're watching. Know you think you've won. You set your traps. You caught Jessica's mercenaries. You protected Emma. Very clever. Very impressive."

I could see it on her face, but she was holding back because she had known me for less than twenty-four hours. "Can you make me one promise?" "Anything Bella." My heart was beating out of my chest, and I was hanging on to her every movement. "Don't cheat. If you want someone else, tell me before you do." "So, you will marry me?" "Yes." I practically pounced on her and slammed my lips to hers and pushed her back onto the couch. This was a reason to celebrate. She just promised to be mine. She may think it's a temporary thing but I'm never letting her go. She is going to be mine until my last dying breath.

I asked. Nicholas blinked, seemingly caught off guard by my tone. He went quiet for a moment before saying, "Look, you don't have to act like this. I haven't forgotten my promise. I know how much you love photography. I'll buy you a camera tomorrow, and you can use it when I take you to the concert." He actually thought I was just throwing a tantrum. And apparently, he remembered how much I liked taking pictures. I smiled. "There's no need for that, Nicholas. We should—"
