What happened to Jace? Why was he covered in blood? Was he hurt? Dreams like this usually mean something. The night before my parents' car accident, I had a terrible nightmare—I dreamt my two front teeth fell out, blood pouring everywhere. I woke up crying hysterically. The next day, my parents were gone forever. A wave of panic hit me so hard I barely noticed Hayden watching me. It wasn't until he reached out and gently wiped the cold sweat from my forehead that I snapped out of it. "Did you have a nightmare?"

I take a couple of aspirins and go to the bathroom. Taking a deep breath and looking in the mirror, my eyes are swollen and red from crying, and my nose is bleeding. I have bruises from when Dean stuffed the sock in my mouth. My neck looks black and blue; I don’t recall him touching my neck. I have bruises on my arms and my breast, and there are little pools of blood from where he bit me. I have bruises between my thighs, and I’m still bleeding.

I moved my head from side to side to see inside my mouth, blood was there between my teeths. Suddenly eyes started to become blurry. I blinked a few times but it didn't clear. I looked up in the mirror again. Blood began to fill my eyes. It was rolling down my eyes. My lips parted. Tilting my head a little I tried to wipe the blood from my face but when I saw my hand there was no blood. In astonishment I looked up again and every trace of blood had vanished. There was nothing, not even a drop.

It felt like it slipped away like sand through my fingers. I know I just had a dream, so why can’t I remember anything about it? That’s strange. I tried again, but it was as if a force kept pushing me out of that particular space of my memories. I got up, and walked to the bathroom to wash my face, my head ached. A result of trying to forcefully recall the dream I just had. I bent my face and closed my eyes when I felt Something drop on the sink. I opened my eyes to see a dark red crimson liquid dropping into the sink. I raised my head, and looked in the mirror, I had a nose bleed.

I swallowed hard, trying to ground myself. “It was just a dream… just a dream,” I whispered shakily, but my voice broke at the end. The vivid image of his bloody eyes and his fanged smile lingered in my mind like a ghost that refused to leave. I hugged my knees to my chest, rocking slightly, trying to shake off the lingering terror. It was night already, I don't know the time, I also continued to wander my thoughts around the vision. And then, a knock came in that made me almost peed on the bed. The knock came again and I found it hard to speak.

Dad spoke angrily. Suddenly, Mom and I screamed out as the alpha angrily clawed at Dad's face. The alpha claw was so sharp that Dad's face sliced into three, plummeting to the floor. ************ Again, I woke up sweating and breathing heavily. I started to cry like a pig being butchered. Almost every night I have been haunted by my past within my dreams. I clench my teeth within my mouth with such great anger that my gums start to bleed, remembering the monster who had killed my father. I hated him. I hated him with a passion.

I'll figure it out sooner or later, hopefully the former. Within a few more minutes, I feel myself drifting off into yet another peaceful sleep and let it take me away to new fantasies only my subconscious knows about. However this dream seems similar but much different from my usually smuttier dreams. This one feels real. There's the harsh smell of fire, smoke, and blood all around me. There's dead bodies scattered everywhere and Damon is leaning over a strange looking creature that's now dead by his hands. He turns around and his eyes are black as the blood from the creature.

Sometimes I laugh. But then I laugh harder, because maybe I did. Maybe I really did kill them. Maybe the dream isn’t a warning. Maybe it’s the truth. Maybe it already happened. My reflection in the mirror is worse than the voices. My eyes are red and swollen, with dark circles like bruises beneath them. My lips tremble when I speak. My hair clings to my face in greasy strands. Sometimes I see blood on my hands even when I wash them again and again. I scrub my skin until it’s raw, but the red won’t go away. I smell it even when there’s no smell.

Too late to run away from it. "Oh, c'mon." I groaned, making the strange lady who suddenly became my companion in this dream begin laughing. "Well, that answers my question." She was amused, and I rolled my eyes, ignoring her, but I couldn't do it completely since something changed in her as soon as the dark cloud sent us off into some place empty but completely ruined. It was the same view as my usual nightmares, but this time instead of flowing in bundles, they rushed and overlapping at each other. Their rush was too much, causing my head to ache, my nose started to bleed, and when I coughed, I coughed blood.
