I wanted to ask for help, but I couldn't call out. Suddenly, I felt a thick lump in my throat which was coming up to my mouth, knowing I couldn't hold it, I bent to the side of the bed and vomited out everything which cleared my mind a bit. I looked at the ground and was shocked to see the red spot. It was my blood! I felt fear grip me. I looked at the ground in a daze. It's been long since I had this dream, these dreams had faded away since the day Kennedy started sleeping next to me. But it seems the name of that pack brought back memories again. Those painful memories.

It was blood! “What’s happening to me!” I scream. More blood begins pouring from my eyes. Then my nose bleeds. I run the tap and splash my face with water again but more blood appears. I have made it worse. “I’m bleeding from my eyes! This isn’t normal!” I cry. Then I collapse to the floor and black out. BANG, BANG! “Killian, can you open the door!” a voice shouts from outside the door. I wake up to the voice shouting from outside the door. I climb to my feet and look in the mirror. I look like a horror show.

My gums bled as I bent down and tried using my teeth to cut through the plastic around my hands. The taste of blood flooded my mouth instantly. It was sharp, warm and disgusting but I kept going. My entire body trembled violently while adrenaline pumped through me like poison. Every second felt stretched into eternity. I could hear my own heartbeat louder than the machine. I didn’t want to die not like this. Not trapped like some fucking animal waiting to be slaughtered. Another horrible crunch tore through the car. The windshield shattered completely this time, glass exploding everywhere. Tiny shards sliced across my cheek and neck.

My eyes widened at a sudden realization, I swallowed the lump on my throat. I glanced at the back of my head through the mirror and pulled some hair strands to give me enough view of it. And there I saw something... "Aaaahhh!" I screamed almost nonstop, but not until my knees fell on the tiles. Moment of silence devoured the whole place, almost making me deaf. I closed my eyes as I decided to face the horrible truth. There's dry blood on it, a lot. Then, that wasn't just a dream, it's all true, it’s all real!

She touched her throat and could swear it felt as real as the mouth in her dreams had. Letting out a slow breath, she smiled and moved back onto her pillow. So it was only a dream.
