Dream About Bleeding Gums Novels & Stories

My finger bones started to snap and my fingers looked as though they were broken. I scream upon seeing them, I started to panicking. I jumped from my bed and cried as they start to snap back into place, causing pain to cloud my mind, my body ached all over, all I could do was cry in horror, I've never experienced this, I was confused and scared. My gums started to hurt, I thought someone was pulling my teeth out at the same time. My mouth felt heavy and packed, on instinct, I grazed my tongue against my teeth and they felt longer and sharper, causing my tongue the get cut and the metal taste the fill my taste buds.

While I lay weakly in the tub, different images flash across my mind in a blurred frenzy and a throbbing starts to develop in my head region. I close my eyes, willing the pains to go away, but it only seems to get worse, the images going by faster. As I try to pay attention to the details on some images, I discover that they look similar to what I see in my dreams. An object in one of the image changes its course, and it looks like it's getting closer to me. Suddenly, my eyes snap open, and I gasp in shock. The pains have subsided, but I feel a wet liquid trickle down my nose. I touch it and on looking at my hand, I find that I'm bleeding.

I could tell that I have never had it this worse before, I felt this was something different. I turned on the faucet at the sink to rinse my mouth and there was a red coloration in the water. I checked my mouth in the mirror, and my gums were swollen and it was bleeding. "Freda, open the door right now…" he growled. I flinched looking for ways to make him not see me like this. I have known him for quite some time and I still have not gotten used to his growling in anger and frustration. "I'm fine, I promise." I managed to say at the top of my voice.

The blood oozed out from my eyes, ears, stomach, and throat. I gasped and jerked my body backward as I opened my eyes. I heard a loud breaking sound, but all I could think of was how I was choking and gagging as I felt my neck and stomach. It was eerily genuine. I felt every bone the knife crossed fracture. My eyes welled up and a sob escaped my lips. Since that incident, I've been plagued by dreams. I hid my head in my hands and attempted to keep my trembling body under control. These nightmares can be enjoyable at times, making me want to sleep indefinitely, recreating the same scenarios over and over. However, there are occasions when things are even worse.

I brushed my teeth three to four times until my gums were bleeding. I wrapped a towel around myself. My skin was burning from all the scrubbing. I walked to my room and changed into some comfortable clothes. After I was done with everything, I broke down again. I cried my heart out. I don't know when I'll stop feeling this way... I don't know when all this will stop. I just want all of this to be over... I'm tired... I can't take this anymore.

I must’ve cried in my sleep—some heartbreaking dream, though I couldn’t recall the details. My mind was foggy, like the whole night had been wrapped in mist. Sniffling, I felt something sticky in my nose. I reached for a tissue and wiped. There was blood. My head went blank with panic. Heart racing, I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. In the mirror, my reflection stared back—paler than usual, but no fresh bleeding. I pressed a hand to my chest, trying to slow my breathing. I was fine. I had to be fine.

Slowly, dread pooling in my stomach, sweat dropped down my forehead, and I looked down at my leg. A thin cut bled where a branch had scratched me in the dream. I pressed my shaky fingers against it. This was no dream. My eyes widened. Whatever happened in my dream was not just a dream. It was reality.

He swallowed hard, eyes roaming around my face as he opened his mouth to speak. Turns out, I didn’t want to listen to his lies after all. My hand clutching the juice box landed on his face. He stumbled three steps back from the impact, holding his bleeding lip. He regained his balance, but before he could reach for me, the sound of my alarm echoed, waking me up from my dream. Eyes glued at the ceiling, I wonder if this is how dreaming really works, because it fucking sucks.

Damn. My heart pounds frantically in my chest as I feel something wet and sticky between my legs. With trembling hands, I reach down, my fingers coming away slick with crimson, the metallic scent of blood filling the air. God, why am I bleeding? Horror washes over me as I realize what's happening, and I feel bile rise in my throat, threatening to choke me. The blood continues to flow, staining the pristine floor beneath me in dark, ominous streaks, a stark contrast against the polished surface.

We had been through a lot, and we just wanted some peace, but as things were, peace seemed to be drifting away from us quickly, and I did not know if I could hold on to it any longer. I woke up and looked at my husband sleeping peacefully. He was handsome even in his sleep, and I wondered if I looked that good while sleeping because often I wake up and realise I have a bit of drool on the side of my mouth. Talk about sleeping with your mouth open. I have been doing a lot of that lately. I was yet to tell him my dreams. I was yet to tell anyone about it because I was scared deep down that they weren't dreams, but visions, visions of what was to come.
