“I said that for you single guys,” I shrugged. “I’d rather be home with my wife and kids.”
Lucian looked at me with surprise, raising an eyebrow.
“Well, would you look at that—never thought I’d hear those words coming from you,” he teased, and I threw a pen at him, making him burst into laughter. “I’m glad you found happiness and peace.”
