Samael was different, he was in the dungeons on a daily basis, torturing whoever he liked that day. "Where is Gabrielle?" I asked again. She was going to tell me. The human in front of me cowered away. "I don't understand." She cried. "Tell me where she is!" I shouted, rattling her cage with my fist. "I am Gabrielle!" She responded in a shout. "Stop with your lies!" I shouted back. I was going to torture her. I was getting the answer the easy way or the hard way. Opening her cage, her face turned fearful when I entered her cell with a malicious grin.

All of them sat there, unable to look Gabriella in the eye and clearly unwilling to talk in front of the others as she peppered them with her questions. “Do you want that bastard to come back? To kill your people without cause as he did before?” Gabriella took a deep breath. The pain was getting horrible and she was having trouble breathing. It seemed the more she got worked up the quicker the infection spread. She was still waiting for an answer when one of the angels appeared in the room. They had found something they thought might stop the infection from spreading and needed Gabriella to be moved to their house in the city.

Gabriel mutters a good morning to exactly no one but he avoids my gaze as he strolls to the fridge. "Your eggs are burning. “Gabriel says casually. "Shit!" I realize now that I remained glued in my position the whole time. I immediately rush to remove the frying pan where my finger accidentally touches the burning steel. "Fuck!" I curse painfully. I switch off the stove returning my attention to my burnt finger. Immediately Gabriel rushes to me and gets my hand. He inspects the burn but right now as his hand touches mine, my mind is far away from the pain but it is concentrating on the person in front of me.

Third-Person POV Gabriel ignored the excruciating pain in his body and the blood-soaked bed before shoving Isabelle aside and driving out toward the canyon at the border like a madwolf.
