Not too far. Just enough to follow without being noticed. I had acted normal all day. Like nothing was wrong. Like I wasn't curious about the mask I found in her bathroom last night. Like I believed her silly excuse. I almost scoffed. “Costume party,” I muttered. Yeah right. That wasn’t just any mask. And she knew it. I knew it. And now— Whatever the hell this was? It just confirmed everything. Because that wasn’t all. All day… She had been off.

I'd thought about Nyx all week, the way she made me forget I was Nicholas Bodeen for exactly three minutes and twenty-seven seconds. "Mr. Bodeen," Dominic greeted me at the entrance with that practiced smile. "Welcome back, should I assume you're requesting Nyx again?" "Yes." "Of course. VIP Room Three is ready for you." I followed him down the familiar hallway, my pulse already picking up. This was ridiculous. I'd dated models, actresses, women who made careers out of being beautiful, but none of them had stayed in my head like this masked stranger I'd met for less than five minutes.

At first, it sounded like a normal question. Then I heard her voice shaking. Julius didn’t seem to notice. “Your mom caught a man wearing a mask near the pack house gate,” he explained. Jasmine went pale. “A masked man?” she whispered. “Yes,” Julius replied. “Don’t worry about it. Your father and mother will make sure he doesn’t leave here alive.” “No!” The cry burst from Jasmine’s lips so suddenly that everyone froze. She looked terrified. “Please, Dad!” she cried. “Don’t harm him!”

But I don't know what she wanted, so I brought one. Now I know why she wanted to lose her precious virginity. And that was the main purpose of the mask. No strings attached. Just sex. Just a fucking sex. Five hours later, she eased off. She stopped talking. She stopped dancing. And good thing she stopped sobbing like a three-year-old kid. My job was supposed to have sex with her. But it so happened that I was babysitting someone who just turned eighteen. When she leaned her exhausted back against my shoulder, that was the time for me to go. So, I gently lifted her from the floor and put her profound sleepiness on the bed.

He sighed and brushed his hand in his hair the other hand resting in his pocket and he stopped smiling and said in a deep voice, “Seeing you now is risking my life, you know my first name and for the first time I am not afraid to take such a step.” He turned to me and this time he looked straight in my eyes and he continues, “I will try and come back here to see you. But if I can’t and you can recognize me without my mask when we meet once again, then I won’t hesitate to be yours forever. This I promise.”

So I thought but no it was someone.closing my eyes ,expecting to fall,but I didn’t instead I felt a strong arms pulling me close .curious to know ,who didn’t freak out due to my ugliness, I opened my eyes and saw him. THE MASK GUY that doesn’t associate himself with anyone.he likes been alone just like me but the difference is that he hates people associating with him he usually shun them to stay away from him but me ,no one wants to come close to where I am .

With such a blank face, this man was talking to her about horror movies and ghost stories in a cemetery! Suddenly, she felt she was wrong about something. Today was not just an unlucky day for her; it was a disastrous day! Seeing Hailey’s pale face, Travis Blake’s anger instantly disappeared. “I think there’s something behind you,” he snapped. This made Hailey nervous. She found it difficult to breathe as goosebumps spread across her arms. She let out a scream and quickly wrapped all her limbs around Travis Blake’s body like a sticky octopus.

Someone bumped into my and my mask fell off I almost fainted before Joshua started turning arou, I put my head down and quickly ran into that hallway and then sighed relieved and carried my head up. I walked into the biggest shock of my life “What the hell are you doing here?”, he asked me so shocked. “Mason?”, I mumbled, shocked to my bones. “why don’t you have a mask on?”, he shrieked. “I.. I did I just, I lost it and-“ “Does anyone know you’re here? Are you with anyone?”, he asked looking more worried for me than I was. “No no but I just saw Joshua and-“

I turn on my laptop, and I immediately freeze. It is not my first time watching it. I have seen this video multiple times and I can narrate it from the top to bottom. I have watched it so many times that I have never been able to get rid of the fear in my mouth. I am immediately transported back to that night when it all happened. I grip the chair tightly when I see the masked man zipping his trousers down, the camera moves to show Mama's dead body and my mouth dries up. the man starts laughing.
