No voice came out of my lips as well. After a while, we just reached our rooms. We just took a bath for a while. Athena plans to study in the library today so I also plan to talk to her father. I just took Athena to the library. We just found Hades there, he had already taken a shower too. He was just staring at one of the books on the table. When he saw us, he looked at us with a frown on his face. "What book do you usually read, Son?" I gently asked him.

Yes, I would have if the circumstances were not like that. Hades, the Greek God of Underworld. His name suited him in all ways. He was handsome, his features like that of a Greek God. That night in the light of the road lamps I tried to dive into his sparkling blue eyes. I was pushed back as if not given access. He was in control as if he was just looking for his pleasure.

“This is what you were all heading toward anyway. Chaos. Greed. Power. I am simply… accelerating the process.” Gavriel snarled, his aura flaring. “You will leave my kingdom.” Hades ignored him completely. Instead, his gaze locked onto Althea. “There you are,” he murmured. “The girl who walks between ruin and salvation.” Althea felt it then. A pull. Not physical, but something deeper. Something cold brushing against her mind, testing her defenses the way one tests thin ice. Her heart pounded. “Do you feel it?” Hades asked gently. “The darkness that clings to you. The grief. The loss. The rage you bury so neatly beneath duty and kindness.”

I warned, settling back into the mattress. He moved to the corner of my bed and looked me dead in the eyes. It wasn’t just a stare. It was like he was looking through me. Like he could see things I didn’t even know were showing. “I’m Hade. I’m a writer, and uh...” He glanced to the side, eyebrows pulled together. “To be honest, I don’t remember my full name. This piece of paper—” he held it up, “—it’s the only clue I have about who I am.”

I have now come to the end of book one of my Cursed by the gods series. It has been a long journey I'm not gonna lie. I lost commitment along the way of writing this book, lost inspiration, even changed the plan I initially had for it. I am really glad that I got to finish it and if you stayed till the end I just want to say thank you for even choosing this book in the first place. I will start with the second book as soon as possible and do my best to make that one better. I hope I have been able to tell you a good story dear readers and once again I thank you for reading Cursed by the gods. Thank you.

The words seemed to leap off the page, filling the room with an eerie sense of foreboding. Everything written in the book didn't make any sense to either Stella or Morgan. They found everything in the book quite absurd. The book spoke of witches, dragons, angels, vampires, and the devil. They didn't believe in such a thing at all, weren't they just fantasy? If they were to interpret it, it only meant that Grandma Elizabeth was a witch while the stranger guy whom Stella had picked from the streets the previous night was the devil.

And this is how the last story about Light and Darkness that I wanted to present to you ends. It was certainly an extraordinary journey, showing different stories, but at the same time touching the same topic - can two such opposing poles as Light and Darkness connect at some point? I'll leave it to your own choice, but one thing is for sure - as Miyuki said in Book 4, wanting to stop the battle between vampires and wizards - Light and Darkness certainly couldn't exist without each other. If there was only Light but no Darkness, what would be its meaning? Likewise, if there was only Darkness in the world, wouldn't its existence be pointless without trying to "devour" the Light?

I fought the covers, trying to get myself untangled, but it had the opposite result, my feet were both now trapped and I was unable to move my left arm. "Good morning Bu..." I heard Hades say but he stopped once he saw my position. "Who won the war?" he asked me, and I stayed quiet, waiting for him to come and untangle me from the cover. "It's a tie," I say when he doesn't move to help me right away. "I can see," he says with a chuckle, I got angry at him and tried to move and shift to get out of the sheet hold. "Slow down, relax," he says with another chuckle, walking toward me and starting to untangle me.

Hades: Does Destiny know about that I know that she is having a hard time with you being gone all the time she isn’t sleeping much barely eating and she is always worried, Draco: I mentioned it to her but I haven’t told her that I was just waiting on flight information.( that was true and Joseline was joining me) Hades: Well just be careful when you do go I think we have made so head way in the case I am on my way to see Milo and Lucas, well have fun and tell my daughter I’ll come by when I finish Draco: I told him ok and I bye and walked up to the suite, Dee

“Are you guys ready to finally do as we were formed to do?” My eyes glared at Callighan as he lifted his head up to the sky. Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire. One charged at me and right when I thought life was over for me, the gunshots came right after him. Pow! Pow! Pow! Pow! However, those shots were not enough… -To Be Continued- The End of Book 2
