I yelled subconsciously and trying to break out from the trap I think I'm in. Someone was kneading my butt from behind and I tried to find Cole or is that everyone looks like Cole? I breath hard, gasp as a gripping sensation flushes inside me. Unfortunately, everything is blurry, I feel weaker, subconsciously and so scared that I froze. Please... someone help me, I don't know what's happening to me. I can't think, horror wears me off and my heart keeps hammering. Everyone looks like a joker, they're scary and why?

The smell of something scorched filled the air. Lily gripped my sleeve nervously, whispering, "...'Pops' is back from his patrol. He hates all living things." The footsteps grew closer. The stairs groaned and creaked, as if they might collapse at any moment. "He's very dangerous," Lily hid behind me. "No one has ever survived an encounter with him." Kael stood up, his shadows gathering. "The fire from Pops's rage can burn through anything." CRACK! The door to the attic was kicked open with brutal force.

“That is fun.” I step closer. “Who would be stupid enough to go after her without knowing she is mine? Why would they even want to” “Careful,” he says. “You sound scared.” “I am not,” I say too fast. He chuckles. “You hate this. Not being alone in the dark. Not being special. You are scared that someone else has noticed her and might cause problems for you.” My hands shake and I curl them into fists to stop it. “What kind of magic did they use? I ask. “I don't recognize it.”

He didn't recognize me because of the face mask and the hair all tied up. Jessica peeked at where I was standing, pointing her finger at me. My body went numb, and my hands trembled in fear when Harry turned his heel on me, narrowing his eyes into slits while staring intently into my eyes. I took a sharp breath when he pulled me out of the elevator. "Who do you think you are?! And why did you slap my girlfriend?!" Harry shook both of my shoulders, shouting furiously. His voice thundered and echoed throughout the whole floor.

I know that Tobias is obsessed with his hair. He thinks it’s his best feature and prides himself on looking like Thor. I know that threatening to damage a hair on his head, literally, is a sore spot for him and shuts him up quickly. He knows I’d follow through if he pushed my buttons too much. “It’d take a lot more than that to scare me away from you and my nephew, Natalie. You are my⁠—” A blood-curdling scream from upstairs cuts through our conversation. "HARRY!" I race toward his room, Freda close behind me. When I throw open his door, Harry is sitting up in his race car bed, his small body convulsing as tears stream down his face. I run to his side and the nightmare happens all over again, only this time, I feel the sharp prick of claws actually piercing my skin through my sweatshirt. "Hold on, baby," I say frantically, but I know calling an ambulance or going back to the hospital won't help. "Just breathe with Mommy. We're going to get you to someone who can help. I promise."

Author Pov "Hello, Gentlemen. So let's start the meeting." Rose said gulping down. It was hard for her to ignore the knife-like glare on her that was ready to slice her open. She knew that it was Harry's dark gaze that was digging holes in her but she just couldn't find the strength to look at him. She didn't even glance in his direction. Her nerves. Her mind. Her heart. Every fibre in her body was screaming in terror. She never thought that one glare from the same sweet boy can scare her this bad.

His eyes turned bloody red! I gasped inwardly when I felt a sudden numbness on my body. I can’t… I can’t move a single thing! “Stop it, Kenrick.” Said Parker who’s holding me. “People said that it’s hard to please a child. So how come a ruthless Hamstell made you smile, huh?” He grinned. Anxiousness fired up inside me. If Hamstell is scary, I think he’s scarier. “Stop putting a spell on her, Kenrick… I’m warning you.” Parker’s voice changed! Now if Kenrick is scarier I think Parker is SCARIEST!
