After putting away more chicken curry, Guy said, ‘Anoushka had two kittens a year or two back. Kit and Kat.* ‘And the poor little things both got run over within six months,* Anoushka said. Claudia felt a pang of empathy. ‘How awful.* ‘They had no road sense whatsoever,* said Guy. ‘Engaging little beasts, but brainless as they come.* ‘Mrs Pierce didn’t think they were engaging,* Anoushka said sulkily. ‘If you ask me, she got that horrible son of hers to come and run them over on purpose.*

I got a single unit with a bathroom and kitchen it was small but it was mine. I spent a week to find a job at the local supermarket only 5 minutes walk from my new home. I worked my ass off and became supervisor for the checkouts within 6 months. Now I'm 3 days away from my 17th birthday and I feel a little bit free. Kat the owner of the motel said she would pop by my room after work to celebrate with me which made me smile considering noone other than Nana ever wanted to celebrate.

"Yes, it can also be used for mice. You know what, you can sit over at our table while I do the window shopping." "Thanks." Kitty didn't think twice. She turned around and quickly walked away. Harry bought the poison and after spending little time together, they left Lakeshore. He drove her home and left her right out the gate as always. "You are going to be alright." He touched her hands. Seeing how reluctant she was. "He is still my father you know." Tears rolled down kitty's eyes. "Try to think of any loving memory of him, something that will tell you, you are an evil child," Harry asked her.

I assure him, we deal with the whole species, we know what to do with them. "She's not potty trained, I never bothered to train her, she drinks warm, only warm not hot bottles before bedtime, she loves her stuffy more than most people in hell. She also has every demon in my kingdom running away when they see her," Lucifer says, so small? So dependent? "Give us a month, the little one would be so attached to us, she won't even go to you," I say with a smirk hoping to win her heart soon. "She's a kitten, her ears and tail need special attention, imagine her a puppy that's going to take a thousand years to grow up," he says, and I nod, having a little one for so long would be a dream come true.

Evelyn POV. "My kitty," Kitkat says as we finished putting all of our stuff away, I should've promised her the cat, I should've kept it until the cat got here, I grow and I learn, I should've known better. I've been dealing with littles for so long and I've been dealing with my Kitkat for over three hundred years as well, I know how to deal with her, but the whole running got me dizzy and unsure of my next move.

“I was just a project to her, some crazy child that she couldn’t shake off and so decided to train into a mini her. Like one of those evil villains training their protégés to continue with their plan for world domination.” I looked at her from her head down. Okay, color me confused as fuck. “is that what she told you?” I asked. “That she’s trying to mold you into her successor or whatever?” “Yeah.” She said. “And Kitty never lies.” “I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Cath definitely lied to you. You two are like batman and Harlequin side by side. Believe it or not, you’re nothing like her and I don’t think she had any plans whatsoever of ordering you to stop looking like something the

They’ve made millions since starting Fable, but unlike the other boys, you never hear anything about their families. Why is that? “I wish I’d gotten a photo of you snogging that cardboard cutout of Lyall,” Kitty says, flicking boredly through the dresses hanging on the rack in front of her. “I could have printed it out and given it to him as birthday present. I bet he’d like that.” “I wasn’t snogging it,” I say hotly, feeling my cheeks flush. “I was just pressed up against it a bit while I was hiding.” “Sure, sure,” Kitty says.

I was in awe of their courage, and I thanked them with all my heart. The pack gathered around me, and I told them what had happened. They were amazed by the bravery of the mother cat and her kitten, and they praised them for their actions. The kitten walked up to me, and I bent down to pet it. It purred loudly, rubbing its head against my hand. I smiled, a feeling of peace settling over me. I knew that I had made a new friend, and that the pack was safe. I named the kitten Lucky, and it became a beloved member of our pack.

I admit while rubbing my bump smoothing my shirt that rode up. “Congratulations on your pups, it’s not brave to do what’s right. I should have done more long ago and fought for the women of our pack, I’m stronger than most of our warriors. Alpha Lucas treats us like slaves and makes anyone who disagrees with him rogue without a second thought,” Kitty speaks with a sad nearly lost expression when I grab her hand and motioning for her to sit across from me.

He places his hand on my cheek and says, “Hey, what’s wrong?” “Nothing Daddy…” “Come on KittyKat, what’s wrong?” “That nickname, where?” He laughs as he moves and wraps his arms around me and says, “When you were 3, you saw one of the older kids shift and you had asked why he turned into a dog. We then spent three days explaining that we were, that you were a werewolf and that when you were old enough, you would get a wolf and you would shift into one as well. But you didn’t want to accept it. You didn’t want to be a dog or a wolf, you wanted to be a cat. We told you that you couldn’t be a cat as you were a wolf, so to try to prove us wrong for the next six months, you would only purr or meo
