"Cameron Stuart! Just how much more trouble are you trying to cause me!" Natalie Parker's shrill voice rang in my ears, jolting me awake. The moment I opened my eyes, I saw her raising a bottle of sulfuric acid to splash it on me. Mona's POV Blood painted the Academy walls like a promise broken. Two hours. That's all it had taken for Alaric's agents to turn this place of learning into a slaughterhouse. Student bodies lay twisted in hallways where they'd tried to run, their youth no protection against Shadow Walker claws.
