Finally we reached his lovely house, it was a beautiful house with wooden walls and roof just like I had in my world such a wolf taste even though there was nothing extraordinary about the house and green plants in front of his house but when he opened the main door of his house a whip of scent came inside my nostrils and I inhaled a deep breath, I could sense a strong scent of werewolves, not just one werewolf but two different werewolves. Lucky me!

The brand in the corner gleamed dully, like a dead eye. I took one step to follow him. The castle **shuddered**. The floor jumped under my feet, and a slow, rolling motion like a giant had shoved the foundations. Dust drifted from the cracked ceiling. The few remaining unbroken windowpanes rattled. Torch flames guttered, then flared jaggedly. The Game’s voice didn’t ooze from speakers this time. It ripped straight through the stone, booming in every direction at once, layered over itself like a chorus.

They get on my damn nerves! We drive silently through the thick forest along a cobblestone road till we arrive at a massive shiny black castle! It's vast and around 7 stories tall. Dense green vines are growing up its sides. There are lots of strange plants growing out front. They move unnaturally like they're alive! I'm getting serious villain vibes from this place. We park in our assigned spot, #24. Someone is standing near it. When we get out, the guy asks Papi. "Can I carry your luggage?" "Sure." He gets our luggage and leads us inside. We greet the other guests who are entering the place, too. We get to our room, #24. And dayum, this room is magnificent!

“Up for a little fun?” The hallway lights flickered in answer. Elvie’s eyes went saucer wide. I crouched beside her. “Tell the castle exactly what kind of room you want.” She swallowed and blurted out in one breath, “Um, a forest room! With real trees and a loft bed please!” The lights flickered again. I added, “Oh, and castle? Please include toys for a seven year old witchling and a closet full of pretty things.” We stepped back and pulled the door shut. Elvie clutched my hand so hard I thought my fingers might go numb.

The air grew colder as they descended a narrow staircase, the flickering light of Damon’s torch casting long shadows on the damp stone walls. “Where are we going?” Hazel asked, her voice echoing in the confined space. “To the castle’s heart,” Damon replied. “There’s something here that might help us turn the tide.” They reached a heavy iron door, its surface etched with ancient symbols. Damon placed his hand against it, murmuring a word Hazel didn’t understand. The symbols flared briefly before the door creaked open, revealing a chamber filled with an eerie, pulsating light. “Surely the notebooks and books they took from your house were items they thought might have this information.” The realization of that was a complete shock. “That's terrible,” Snow said sadly. “Do we have to face any creatures?” “Not according to my father, just get into the castle,” Snow said. “That's what we've already done, so we should be quick to get the hell out.” With that, we went to the room very carefully. We crept in and took a deep breath. Snow looked at the map, read calmly, and urged me to move a heavy closet; then she cut her hand and moved a rock. That triggered a system that moved the walls in such a way that it showed stairs to what easily led to a basement.

In front of her was a huge staircase that led to several rooms. "Let's explore the castle; maybe we would find some clues to the holy river," Alexa suggested. The first few rooms were regular rooms with nothing interesting. She then entered the last room, which looked like a gallery for paintings and artifacts. One particular painting held Adele's interest. It looked like a typical picture of a beautiful scenery on the outside, but when she looked closely, she found something familiar.
