"Ren told me. Can we go?" Kian looked at her. Then at me. "I don't mind," I said. Lily was already sliding off her chair. The hunting grounds sat north of the city, deep in old forest that had belonged to wolves before the city existed around it. The trees were massive — oak and pine grown into each other overhead, breaking the sky into pale fragments. The air changed the moment we passed the tree line. Cooler, heavier, layered with the scent of dozens of wolves from multiple packs, recent and old, readable to anyone who knew how. My wolf lifted her head and took it all in without being asked.

It seemed effective enough that she didn't miss him as much, though she was still angry and spoke briefly. I went to the car and posted the address of the hunting ground. It was quite far from the city, but I could recognize the place because I had been there before. "So she hasn't forgotten the hunting ground we first visited back then." I finally arrived, entering a forest that looked as beautiful as a real hunting ground. I had prepared my weapon, a long revolver with full bullets, and wore gloves. Don't forget to put a silencer on the gun so that my game wouldn't realize the bullet that was shot.

She was alive. I moved out of the pack to see if I could pick out the scent. The rain poured heavily over the abandoned warehouse at the edge of the forest where I picked her scent. Thunder cracked across the sky as I shifted back to my human form. The scent of blood hit me instantly. My mate was here. I saw my beta and the warriors beside me. I signal to them that I will go a alone “ Alpha you can't go alone, we are coming with you” he tried to stop me

(gat lontok pov) I crouched low to the ground, my eyes fixed on the tracks of the wild boar. The forest was alive with the sounds of birds chirping and leaves rustling in the gentle breeze. I had been hunting for hours, and my stomach was growling with anticipation. As the prince of Pasig, it was my duty to provide for my people, and a successful hunt would bring honor to my family and our kingdom.

Silence settled more heavily around the circle. “Once a hunter has physically restrained a participant and declared his claim before an official witness, his Hunt is complete. He may not release his chosen woman and pursue another.” Several women exchanged nervous glances. Aldric continued. “If a participant reaches the sanctuary before sunrise, she is protected under sacred law. No hunter may touch, pursue, or claim her after she crosses the boundary.” His expression hardened. “Any hunter violating the sanctuary will forfeit his title and territory.” That drew several murmurs.

Mr Alarcon asked, “What are you doing? Did you lose something?” When I saw him sitting comfortably on the sofa, asked, “Come and search with me.” “Brian's searching the first floor, and I'm here. You go look on the second and third floor. I'll come and join you after I'm done with the rooms here.” “What are you looking for?” “The bird. It's missing.” He leaned back as he said, “Finally, the devil is gone.” Brian came down and asked me in years, “Elise, I can't find it on the first floor. Did you find it?”

The forest, shrouded in twilight, was eerily silent except for the occasional crackle of leaves beneath our boots and the distant rustle of branches overhead. We had already taken down several animals, their lifeless forms marking a trail deeper into the woods. Yet, there was an unsettling weight in the air, an offbeat silence that I couldn’t ignore. My brothers and I moved in sync, our senses sharp, scanning for our next target.
