Madame Gisele entered the room with another guard flanking her. “I’m just waiting for the buyer,” she said coldly, her eyes fixed on me with that familiar arrogant stare. “They should arrive any minute now.” She paused, eyeing me from head to toe with a mocking smile. “So you can look human when dressed properly,” she said with a chuckle that made my skin crawl. “W-Where... are you t-taking me?” I managed to whisper. “W-Why are you selling me?” Madame Gisele’s smile widened into something sinister. “I suppose... it wouldn’t hurt to finally tell you the truth,” she purred, her tone heavy with sarcasm. “Let's start from the reason we bought you from your parents...”

"Because if I ever catch you sniffing around my Alpha again, I'll make sure you regret it." She shoved me backward and I stumbled, catching myself against the wall. Giselle smiled sweetly and turned to the small crowd that had gathered. "Everyone, meet Isabella. The breeder. If you need someone to scrub your floors or warm your bed for a few coins, she's available." Laughter erupted. My face burned but I kept my mouth shut. Fighting back would only make it worse. Giselle walked away with her heels clicking and her laughter echoing and I stood there... humiliated, broken and alone.

Madam Giselle grumbled. "I knew that—" Duke Harry was interrupted when Madam Giselle spoke. "Then if you know that, you shouldn't be worried like that," Madam Giselle snarled. "And what do you want me to do, Giselle, just stand there and do nothing, just watch my daughter get wounded?" "Is that what you're getting at?"Duke Harry replied to Madam Giselle. "That's not what I mean, Harry," Madam Giselle responded.

He was lounging against the wood, impeccably groomed, his wealth and entitlement a palpable aura. And then there was Giselle. Tall, willowy, with a cascade of auburn hair and a smile that didn’t reach her cool, green eyes. She was the only other female member, a permanent fixture, it was said. She looked Eloise up and down, a slow, assessing sweep. “Fresh meat,” Giselle purred, tracing a nail along her own collarbone. “Silas has such good taste. Don’t worry, darling. We’ll break you in gently.” Her tone promised the opposite.

“Probably just the lighting. I don’t wear contacts.” “You’re beautiful,” Giselle said honestly. Cassie smiled warmly. “So are you.” But even as she said it, she could see it. Giselle’s light was dimmed. Not gone, just buried. Cassie knew that once that spark came back, the woman in front of her would be unstoppable. “So,” Cassie asked gently, leaning back in her chair, “what do you do?” “I’m a cashier at a mall,” Giselle replied without hesitation.

She heard their moans and grunts echoing inside the room "Oh, fuck... Yes... Yes..." she heard the woman moan, her legs are in his husband's shoulder. "Fuck, Isla, you're driving me crazy," Damian grunts and moan as he continues moving his hips towards her. Giselle slowly backed off and covered her mouth with her right hand. Processing what she just saw. She backed off so far from the door that the vase lost it's balance and shattered all over the floor. The sound alerted both her husband and his mistress.

HAZEL. I watched Giselle through the transparent glass that separated the interrogation room. I could hear the back and forth between her and Sheriff Joe. She was reluctant to say anything without a lawyer. “Famous ex wants revenge…is that the story here?” Joe questioned. Giselle’s face was as hardened as stone. She didn’t move, nor did she speak. But the first time she did, she looked around the room like she could sniff me. “I know she’s here…” Giselle muttered.

I asked Julie to find me a suspense novel to read; I asked Elaine to cook me various delicacies; the only thing I didn't dare to ask of Giselle was that she was taciturn, which made me a little intimidated. In the evening, when Giselle was bringing me clean clothes, she brought me a chessboard and asked me if I wanted to play. I was quite flattered. After a few games of chess, we quickly became friends. She asked me to guess her age, and I guessed 30. She shook her head and told me she was already 50. She is the most senior among the active maids. She knew everything that happened in the castle. A self depreciating smile graced my lips, I shouldn't be surprised but why am I surprised, I knew he was cheating on me but I didn’t know who he was cheating on me with till tonight. Goosebumps cover my body. I remain silent and so does she. The fartellos bring us bowls and cups. I look in my bowl and find sliced mangos (my favorite fruit) but I'm not in the mood to eat. After food, everyone stands up and after the usual thanking Madre and lining up thing, we all exit the room. We are meant to head to our various halls but I want to know why Desmond gave me a cold shoulder.
