Midnight Thoughts Meaning Novels & Stories

I came back in my apartment. I fell in my bed. I can't fight all the thoughts that's bothering me. That Ben and Ms. Mina is in one room. Dirty Mina! The only way to evade my anxious mind is to sleep. My body wide spread all over the bed. I became conscious of my every breath, and finally I felt drowsy again. I felt my body sinking in my bed. Im sleepy again. (Yung mga naka italic na words ay mga unspoken cloud of thoughts ng main character)

Doon niya ito inilagay para hindi pakialaman ni Midnight. Sinusumpong na naman ng taglamig si Midnight. Kaagad itong natulog at hindi na umusisa kung ano ang nangyari sa party. Pero habang pinagmamasdan niya itong tulog, naiisip niya kung paano lumaki si Midnight. Ang lungkot ng buhay nito.

Isang gabing di' pang-karaniwan sa lahat. Night times are the best time for most of us. But for me? Not! The night is such a time when our mind is free and the deepest thought usually makes its place, we start to think and give serious thought about things that we want in our life. Sa ganitong oras ako taimtim na humi-hiling na sana'y tumigil na ang lahat.

Hindi mababawasan ng luha ang pagiging miserable. Katulad ng kanyang nakasanayan ay sumakay siya ng tricycle pabalik sa dorm area. Wala si Agatha sa kanyang silid. May pasok pa siguro. Hindi na siya nag-abala pang magbihis. Humilata siya deretso sa kanyang kama at dinama lambot nito. Tahimik lang niyang ipinanalangin na sana paggising nya ay wala na ang mga bagay na bumabagabag sa kanya kahit na alam niyang hindi iyon posible.

Somehow the thought of going to the dark woods in the middle of the night and with the full moon sounds promising, like a good thing is about to happen. Or the other way around...

The thought would always enrapture her before just by thinking of the creatures residing on the moon. But now that the moon is not glimmering anymore, does that mean that the creatures there too aren’t as well? Para sa kanya, ang bawat gabing dumaraan ay isang palatandaan na lamang na natapos na naman ang isang araw sa buhay niya na puno ng pagdurusa at kinabukasan ay magsisimula ulit ang panibagong araw ng pasakit sa kanya.

It was cold, yet the desire to go further was evident. Gusto kong maligo. The thoughts with Psalm and… everything that happened tonight seemed to get me, and the only way to wipe it out for a minute is if I drown myself a little in this cold ocean. Is if I… drown my thoughts, as well as myself in this horizon.
