O With Line Through It Novels & Stories

What was written on them wasn't medicine names. Numbers. Names. All crossed out. Ink faded to dead brown. 78.3%. 82.1%. 76.9%. 91.4%. The names varied. Some Omega. Some Beta. Some just code, nothing but letters and digits. Every single one struck through. The force of the lines had bitten into the wood, some of the paper punctured clean through. The last sign's ink was still wet. 99.7%. Name: blank. A shiver shuddered through my scent gland.

Josh rolled his eyes and started walking, Alex looked around before following him. They walked over to the back, luckily for them they weren't seen by any one in the house. They stopped just in front of a tree, on the ground were dry leaves. "Wow, doesn't anybody come to this area?" Alex said quietly. Josh looked around. "Oh!" "What?" Alex turned followed his eyes. Just few feets away from them shows the doors leading to the underground passage wide open. "Huh, is that supposed to be open?" "I... Something is not right," Josh said walking over to the open doors.

He pulled a black bag from the glove compartment when he finally climbed in after fumbling with his keys. "Here," I look up from mom's eyelashes to see a pair of dog collars in his hand. Like, literal dog collars, black with silver spikes. I sneer away from him. "Alpha has instructed you both to wear one, they have a line of silver on the inside to ensure you don't shift and so you can't communicate with your wolf." He mumbled with sorrowful eyes as he pushed them toward us again.

And now all I see when I close my eyes is nothing, just that voice calling out to me. “This symbol is ancient. I have seen it somewhere before, but I just don’t know where.” Rosie looks away and points to one of the rocks stuck in the ground. I crouched down to get a better look at the rock Rosie was pointing at. Etched into the stone was a symbol, a circle with a line that went all the way through. The line is large at the top with a smaller line going through the top, making it look similar to a cross. Inside the circle are two more lines. One of them cuts through the large line that goes all the way through and a smaller line sits just beside them both, it looks like someone has carved a

Mark says, tapping the floor with his fingers, the other hand on his knee. “Alright… mmm… I don’t know. Stand up and drink to this line without stopping,” I order, pointing at the bottle. For some reason, Mark takes off his purple sweater. I can’t help but follow his bare torso with the corner of my eye. I’ve never seen him like this. He has tattoos like Sam, well-defined muscles, and a small infinity tattoo below his navel. I swallow hard and glance discreetly at Sam. He’s been silent, pupils dilated, gaze lost.

“We…don’t…speak…it.” Coward, the Zenaida-voice inside me hissed. “Then draw it,” I said. “In the blood you were so eager to spill.” I lifted my boot, just enough for him to move his arm. He hesitated, then dragged his fingers through the puddle of red by his leg. His hand shook as he traced on the concrete, rain already working to blur the lines. The symbol that emerged was ugly in its simplicity: a circle with a line through the center, and four smaller cuts radiating outward like claw marks.

he added with a bow. I took the letter in surprise. Kevin could have sent a mindlink instead, I thought as I opened up the letter. It was written in fine ink. "Alpha of the Night Howlers," the heading said. I remained standing as I scanned the content of the letter. I ran towards the arched windows to take a peep at expanse. I saw nothing. The letter had read, "You look stunning in your outfit, Alpha. We could grab a drink sometime." I ordered the guards who'd sent the letter back,

Two pink lines. Clear. Unmistakable. Two pink lines. I picked it up with shaking hands. Turned it toward the light. Looked at it from different angles like that would somehow change what it said. Two lines. I grabbed the box. Read the diagram showing what positive looked like. I had two lines. Positive.

The system was in the middle of the room and below it, there was a glass container, on the top of the container it was written, 'Place your beast here. I placed Oreo inside the glass container. The system whirred to life and it said, "Collecting data" and then a small needle the size of a pinpricked the skin of my beast without causing it any pain, and it collected a drop of its blood for analyzing. Oreo looked at the machine strangely. The process was over and Oreo came out of the container. I opened the portal and made Oreo go inside. I had never looked inside the portal, so I thought I could poke my head in to see what's inside.

Stella said to which Naitee said " Whatever! " " There's a note " taking the note from the neck bell of the teddy bear Naitee sits on the floor and Stella followed her action. " ' O- ' what does this O- means now? Is it some kind of word puzzle? " Stella said meanwhile Naitee rubbed the pad of her left thumb frowning at the note. ' Why there's O- written on the front of this note. The first one was S- and this one is O-... SO? ' Naitee tried to link words but gave up at the end when nothing made sense to her.
