I have a friend now. My house is quiet when I get home. As usual, dad is not around. He's always working. He's a handyman who's always picking up odd jobs every time he's even a little bit free. He's determined to send me to college without my grandparents help. I like that he's holding on to his pride but it's hurting our relationship. I make myself lunch and put the TV on. While my Dad always came back home late from work, I barely even saw my mom, she'd return home after my bed time and leave before my alarm sounded, She was really into her profession, maybe one day I'll be like her or not. I didn't see myself as the loving house wife type or even the totally into her profession type either, it was complicated. He sniggered, "She's good, I guess..." "Don't tell me..." The rest of the day went by peacefully, dad had told me about his new family and how he would love to introduce me to them very soon. He spoke about his new job as a gym instructor in a gym he owned. He had done a few white collared jobs over the years with enticing payment but he realized it just wasn't for him. Not that he was bad at his job, in fact, he thrived so well and was promoted to the position of the managing director in his last job. But he just didn't feel like such a job was his calling.

How could I even think that I could get him in the first place . Jeff came from a well to do family ,his dad has one of the biggest companies in the whole of New York. though they were pretty popular but one thing I knew was the fact that his mom never like and she did literally everything to make sure that I left his son and I knew one of her reason was the fact that I was raised by a single mother but I just didn't care ,I didn't want to think about it ,I wasn't going to keep thinking about the past .

Her dad looks at her with amusement. "Of course not!" She giggled and hugs her dad's arm while leading him to the Living room. Her dad was always busy at work since she was a child, in spite of this she still grew up close to him. Her dad raises her alone and did not date to remarry as well. She was really thankful to him, despite his busy work life he managed to spent time with her. They both enjoy outdoor activities like camping, hiking and even fishing.

Grandpa said, referring to Dad. "Yes, Grandpa. Thank you" I smiled. There was no point reasoning or defending myself so I quietly sign the papers. "Yeah, you can tell me when and I'll let you handle the whole department" Dad said, patting my shoulder. I had worked part time as Dad's assistant secretary for four summer vacations because I was too bored to enjoy my holidays so I did have experience in work. "Nat, we're all so proud of you" Uncle Sam said and I nodded my head.
