The Day Peanut Disappeared The scream came first. God. A real scream. Not excitement. Not surprise. Fair. Fear. Pure fear. Reasonable honestly. The kind that freezes blood. After moving his hand along the holo-screen a few times, the ceiling began lowering. The table now held thousands of tightly wrapped plastic bricks of black tar. “Not anymore.” Oliver stated plainly. He walked back his seat.

We had been getting a lot of animal attacks over the last week. “Shit it’s Dutch” Layla cries pushing forward to sniff the air, then I hear her scream and my heart shatters.
