You can go willingly, or you can scream and be dragged like a child at daycare. Choose.”

He collected the blood methodically in a container, displaying no hint of remorse. "I have new captives—humans we're molding for the impending war. The first step in their transformation into wolves hinges on your blood," Marvins murmured coldly, devoid of empathy. He then turned his back, heading toward the door handle. Sensing a disturbance but finding no one, he left behind a scene shrouded in darkness and despair, leaving a trail of anguish and uncertainty in his wake. He gently pulled Aloha up from her concealment, their eyes meeting in the dim light.
