It isn’t long before we’re all circled up again with the addition of Quinn, Fallon, and Astrid, and we’re finally ready to hit the road. I’m still in a state of disbelief that this is happening right now. I mean, we knew it was coming, but now that we’re actually leaving it feels incredibly surreal. Like I’m in a bad dream that I’m struggling to wake from. We all head out to the parking lot, splitting off to separate into two vehicles. Gray and Fallon will be riding in Jax’s truck with him and Quinn, while Theo and Reid will be riding with me in the Escalade. As we split off, though, Astrid stops, standing there awkwardly. I guess she wasn’t actually assigned a vehicle.

The streets filled with the sound of screeching tires and the smell of burning rubber, into the alley. Three cars, a silver Nissan, a white Toyota and one I wasn't expecting, a red mustang. The red mustang was my brothers and that didn't make sense to me. I stopped just short enough not to hit the Nissan, and two men came out. Camino, and Dee. The two out of three triplets that worked for my father, the only difference between the three is that Camino has a deep scar straight across his chubby face.

And with that, their small caravan set off to Grave Crown with Xavier, Ava, and Marnie in one escorted vehicle, and Liam and Dylan taking up the rear in a second one following closely behind them. The trip wasn’t an easy one. The drive alone was over ten hours long, which would be a harrowing enough trek. Added to it, though, every optional route meant cutting right through Eclipse territory in some capacity or another, so they opted to take the scenic route adding an additional couple of hours to the trip, but greatly lessened the chance of them running into Neia’s forces by avoiding Massachusetts altogether. Lisa's point of view: As the truck rumbled along the dirt road, I glanced at Mia, who leaned against me with her eyes half-closed. Despite everything, she was holding up well. The driver, whose name was Tom, kept his eyes on the road but occasionally glanced at us in the rearview mirror. "How did you two end up out here?" Tom asked, breaking the silence. "It's a long story," I replied, not wanting to delve into the details just yet. "But we were chased by some men, and we don't know why."

We were so happy on that day that I totally forgot Aarav might invite Arjun. After all Arjun is his best friend who he trusts so much. If I had know that he would be there. Chapter 24 THE TRIP SELENAS POV I already emailed Beatris to let her know that we were on our route and how many people we were also bringing in case rouges struck again. We should get a Beatris pack in a few hours. Three of the men from Beatrice's group, Fabian, Gaby, Esteban, George, and Manuel, were in the front SUV. The others were in the SUV behind us with some of the combatants, and the rest were in the other SUVs. Beatris was quite relieved to learn that we were headed to her pack, and I don't know how many times she thanked me while we were on the phone. I tried to start a conversation. “Of course, Alpha.” They replied together. “I am Dinn, this is Finan.” The man driving said quickly. “Excuse us if we do not talk, we wish to have our full attention on the convoy.” The ride to the location was not as long as I expected. The roads were more of trails as we followed the winding and turning. I noticed a car behind us kept stopping then catching up a few minutes later. “What are they doing?” I asked the driver of the vehicle, who was Dinn.

THIRD PERSON The triplets, their friends and the Pack warriors have been driving around the Packs in search of Camilla but each moment they get a whiff of her scent, it immediately disappears or gets mixed up with those of rogues or some strange perfume. It's almost four in the afternoon and their search is yet to bear any fruits and to be sincere, everyone in the troupe is tired and pissed off. No one is talking to the other. It's at this time as they find themselves back at the stream when they decide to split and follow different paths.

The road trip we were currently finding ourselves on was not fun at all. Lia was driving and anytime I tried to talk to Matt who was in the seat next to me, he just grumbled something under his breath. I did attempt to talk to Lia a few times, but she reminded me that she was driving and needed her attention completely on the road. Why did it mean we couldn’t talk? But I wasn’t going to complain. “This is the worst road trip ever,” I muttered, realizing that I had just gone against the promise I made for myself.

“Why are you still so stubborn? Your parents are being driven to death by your selfishness! Is your pride really more important than their lives?” Looking at my dad lying unconscious on the ground, and my mom on the verge of breaking down, I closed my eyes and swallowed the bitterness rising in my throat. Forcing myself to endure the humiliation, I finally said, “Liam, I’m sor–” Before I could finish, the roar of engines suddenly echoed from the end of the street. The packed crowd split apart instantly, and a convoy led by black Hummers pulled to a stop right in front of me. Someone in the crowd recognized the person stepping out of the lead vehicle and gasped.
