When I have no luck, I grab the phone off the bed, and a twinge of disappointment hits me when I see I don’t have a message. Me: Do you know where my purse is? Xavier responded instantly. Sir: You don’t need it. Me: Half my life is in that purse. Sir: That’s strange because I’m your whole life, and I’m pretty sure half of me isn't in your purse. I can’t help but roll my eyes, even though my stomach flutters as I read it. Sir: Don’t roll your eyes at me, kitten. You’re already in trouble as it is.

He looked once more at Syrana before doing as he was told. “You should head on back too, Iris.” Xanth yelled to Iris who still remained up on the tree. He focused on the Khione woman in front of him, she seemed intriguing and he wanted to deal with this without interruptions.

“No..I’m not coming back..yeah, I know….I sent you an email after the last time we talked..” Siri said as he paced around the bedroom, talking on the phone. Pai couldn’t help but sigh as he entered the room with a two cups of tea. He knew who Siri was talking and what this whole thing was about. It was not like this was the first time this conversation had happened in the past fifteen days. Frankly, Pai didn’t think Siri would succeed in what he was trying to achieve, not immediately anyway.

Xavier needed to find out why she was SO angry! Sierra was balling her fists to help control her anger. "That BASTARD has Madison and he wants to trade her for me! We need to stop him...NOW!" Sierra looked pointedly at Xavier. "You told me that once a connection is established that it could be used like a tracking device, right?"

Renee is glaring daggers at Sierra. "You..." she wanted to rip Sierra in to shreds. But she could neither do it with her words or by her actions. Sierra has the upper hand here. But Sierra is not done yet. "Unlike you who only thinks that everyone is bad, I am not like you. What I have with Xavier is a bond which people like you would never understand. He is the shield I wanted and the support I needed when I found him. Not everyone's relationship is purely based on Physical apperance. There are bonds which run deeper than anyone could see with their eyes. So I suggest you to stop degrading yourself like this" Sierra said before walking away.

When they were still thinking about what to do, Xavier spoke again. "I know you have severe drought in summers for three months. I can help you to secure continuous water supply. If you want, then come and find me once your lord gains conscience" Xavier announced loudly before he motioned for Ethan to bring Susan. Xavier went to Iris who looked dazed. He lifted her in his arms and carried her away from there. Ethan and the other men closely followed after them, with their guns still raised and ready to fire.
