Teenage Romance Authors Novels & Stories

(Lancelot’s POV) The novel “The Love of My Life” is a story best suited for teenagers. That being said, some of the topics discussed in the novel weights heavily on romance compared to other elements, world building included. Because of that, the scale between the love interests’ life stories and others’ life stories tipped unfairly to the love interests’ side. Not like I have any problem with it when I read it. Because, I’ve read somewhere before that other than fantasy books with hellishly long storyline and particular world building, books which was written to suit the romance genre shouldn’t depict too much of characters’ other than the main characters’ life.

I can’t have my readers hearing how irritated I am because of this. Don’t get me wrong, I love to talk with them and see the light in their eyes as they finally get to meet the face behind the pages, but sometimes it gets a bit too much. No, scratch that. It gets to be a lot. One downfall of writing steamy romance, I suppose. Though it’s not quite on the level as some authors, my books tend to be a bit more heated and R-rated than most. Even so, I still end up always getting the creeps. They come out of the woodwork like termites, in hordes. They buzz like cockroaches, and I have to swat them away at every turn.

Have done a few book signing events, those are even more easier than the interviews themselves since all I have to do is smile politely, signing away on the books I give to my adoring fans as they take pictures. My dream finally became my reality, making me a the best selling author in the country, and of course that garnered some hate from some fellow authors one I particular called Anacostia Beverly. She’s signed to the same agency as I and apparently before I got signed on she used to be the best.. Which for me isn’t suprising, since competition in the writing market is not quite unusual since we all have our niche, audience and writing styles. I write dark romance stories that my readers

Dane, ignoring it all, leans in to give me another kiss, staking his claim and making it obvious this is not a joke when he is interrupted mid-lean-in. “Okay, okay, Romeo, enough of the dramatic entrance; get off the desk and go sit down. Let that girl alone. It’s school, not your bedroom. Congratulations… we have another teen couple distracting everyone.” The teacher wanders in, smiling at us with a shake of the head, and gestures for Dane to move. Unbothered by this scene, he is more than used to all the drama that goes with teenage students. “Ah, to be young and in love.”

It was the name of a popular romance writer who had amassed a cult following online, but no one knew who she was. She sighed as she realized the two girls were probably not talking about her but about some ridiculous fantasy they had concocted due to the overconsumption of romance novels.

I was pretty good at it and at the urging of my then girlfriend Julie, had submitted a few to a story site named Erotic escapes where under the pen name hotforteacher I'd gotten some pretty good reviews. Most of my stories were about older women with guys my age and Miss Ross had been the inspiration for many of them. Most of my female leads had the same long dark hair, big brown eyes and perfect full lips as my favorite English teacher. Yes Miss Ross had been the nasty little cougar in my mind and in print many times over the last few months. Shit, I'd even joined her writing discussion group because it met every other Sunday at her house.
