She muttered to herself. Just then, she heard a beep on her phone. She took it out and it saw that it was a text message from her Dad. She opened it and read; ''Amelia darling, Good morning. Your Mom told me that she already dropped you off at your new school. I hope you're good. Enjoy your first day at school. Love you.'' She smiled and was about to text back when she mistakenly bumped into someone. "Oh, I am so sorry, I didn't see you there.'' She said,

she asks. Hell if I know. There’s so much I want to say. So much I need to say. But I have no idea how to start. How do you tell someone over text that you still love them? That you want them back? That you’re ready to try again because you still need them? I grab a second mug, drop in a sleepytime tea bag, and pour the water. I pass the mug to Andie and hand her the honey while I drink mine straight. “I never thought I’d be agonizing over how to write a text to someone again,” I mutter with a bitter laugh.

I sighed deeply and reached for my cell phone. As I opened I*******m to message Alpha Xavier, a recent post of his caught my eye on my news feed. It mirrored the content I had just witnessed on television. Showing my support, I liked the post and proceeded to send him a message. "Hey, handsome. Busy day?" I texted, eagerly awaiting his response, which didn't arrive. I understood that he was likely occupied with the announcements, so I decided to cut to the chase.

I seriously can't stop smiling, something good is finally happening for me and I have no one to tell. Picking up my phone as I lay on my back I open my texts with Damien, even though we haven't spoken all week and he was only at school for 2 days I have to tell him, right? This is his win too he helped just as much. Deciding to text him I send a simple 'Hey' no one can ignore a simple hey, no matter who's mad at who.

I lie down in bed, pick up my phone, and open I*******m. Mia just uploaded a new story of her partying at Rose Black nightclub. "Mia, he took all my money," I text my best friend. "Stop being so down, dude. Come hang out with us," Mia replies as fast as I can expect. Tears keep flowing as I type. My hand shakes as I curl up in a blanket like a sushi roll. "How are you texting so fast while dancing?" I send back. "I’m actually outside your house. Come down here."

A small whimper escaped my mouth causing me to slap a hand over it. His laugh filled the room. Despite the turmoil of emotions that were ravaging my mind, I couldn’t deny the fact that his body was nothing less than perfect.

Jax: You free to talk again? We texted until 2 a.m. And just like that, it became a habit. By the end of the week, our late-night conversations had become the highlight of my days. I was always looking forward to his texts. We talked about almost everything – our dreams for the future, our fears, stupid memes, favorite books, even our worst dating stories. He made me laugh in ways I didn’t expect. And every time his name lit up my phone, my heart did a little flip.
