After an hour of videos, my eyes started to ache, so I closed my laptop and stood up to tidy my room. I’d left it in chaos this morning when I was searching for my purse, and honestly, the mess was embarrassing. Clothes draped over the chair, makeup scattered on the dresser, shoes kicked under the bed.
I started folding things, stacking them in neat piles, and putting my toiletries back in the bathroom cabinet.
That’s when I saw it.
An old, battered scrapbook on the top shelf of my bookcase. The same one I hadn’t touched in years.
