“They are powerful beings, full of magic. But they cannot directly influence this world. Only through people. People like you. And I. The heat quickly spread from the tripods, and the light illuminated the entire grotto. Because of the stalactites, bizarre living shadows, similar to someone's tentacles, crawled along the walls and ceiling. The magician stood in the center of the flaming circle, and pathetically throwing up his hands, spoke in a foreign language. It was like a strange prayer, and Deja knew to whom it was addressed. The flame, obeying his voice, thinned and stretched out. Licking the ceiling, it fell with a hiss. The old man paused, looking ahead.

Pausing for a moment, I added, “I apologise for my mistake. I didn’t know the library was off-limits.” “Actually, it isn’t exactly off limits….” She waved her hand and a pile of books flew out of the shelves and arranged themselves in neat stacks. Valence’s lips quivered as she muttered a spell in some language I couldn’t recognize. Moments later, the books vanished from my sight. “You can go ahead and read the others.” I bowed from my waist, “Thank you, Grand Magus.” “Why are you back? Is there a problem?”

I didn't have the first clue and a small whine escaped from me as I tried to figure it out. Derek understood my dilemma, "Just relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate hard on being human. The magic should do it automatically." I took a deep breath and tried to picture myself as I looked in the mirror. I put all my will into that thought and concentrated on becoming human. It took me a long moment, but I felt the world begin to melt and shimmer around me. I ended up crouched on the table completely naked.

I knew they would be right outside. Didn't he care so much about the death of his guard that he couldn't shed a tear? All he just did was show the anger in his eyes, lift the body to dump it. "Seize them," the magician said, "beat them mercilessly." And then he ascended his regal seat. As I realized that three guards were coming towards me and the door was on the latch, I pushed them all away, grabbing the doorknob as the magician stretched forth his hands towards me. I could feel a retard in my wolf, as I relented from trying to escape.

I couldn't find the words to praise it. "Excuse me." While I was lost in thought, the magician leaned down, picked me up, and sat me on his arm. I put down the masterpiece and realized that I was looking directly at his face. It was hard to imagine that this was the face of someone who had lived for hundreds of years. It wasn't that he looked young or not, although he was indeed very young and handsome. It was his innocent temperament, as if he had not yet been tainted by the world, had not yet experienced too many disappointments and compromises, and life had not yet taken its toll on him, his soul still young and carefree.

“He won’t tell me what I really am, so I said, if I do magic, I must be a magician.” Grandma laughed, and I headed for the stairs, wondering how I would climb them all. Under her breath, I heard her say, “Close. Not a magician… a mage.”

“No, my king. I am very grateful enough for the offer. However, I shall be successful no matter what the case may be.” The king laughed at him then. “I trust you will. I shall be sending my best magician in the whole kingdom to assist you—whatsoever the case may be.” “Yes, my king.” And that magician turned out to be the pygmy entertainer. Mazoi had never met her but he had already heard about her. But he still wondered what the pygmy was doing at the governor’s house. Then an answer hit him. She could have been there for only one reason—to be able to take care of the foreigners. The timing was too perfect. It was planned out well by their destiny.

He also wishes the warriors don’t come back with the Magic Bean and so he consulted with certain wicked Oracle in the far land to make sure the warriors won’t be able to find the Beans or not return home. The Oracle told him that if he can…

The three magic Knights Leaders went out of the portal and stood on the three chairs placed on the sides of the King’s chair. “And let’s welcome our Kingdom’s Magic Leader, King Magnus!” everyone rose from their seats to welcome the King. King Magnus is a fire mage, my father met with him once and I remembered that his aura is as tremendous as my father. He talked to me before and he was really kind but he’s aura is just so powerful that even though he showed kindness towards me, I still kept a distance.

Going to Los Barrios, one should find the portal first. The Magicians’ world was as if a mirror world; a dimension inside a dimension. Like spirits, Magicians lived in between. However, they could not see spirits except if they possessed the gift. The spirit world and the magicians should not be confused as one – they were not. There were so many dimensions out there and the human imagination could not confirm yet nor understand the gravity of how the world worked. It should be easier if that’s the case though, Rudolf thought.
