“I don’t feel anything, you’re right. I don’t know why or how to make it stop. I’m sorry. I hate being like this.”
“Do you feel anything?” Bryan asks, his tone becomes softer.
I shrug, “Only frustration.” Bryan looks at me curiously, so I continue. “I don’t feel excitement about our wedding, I don’t feel sympathy for the pack, I don’t feel happy, I’m not even sad about my family. The only thing I feel is frustration at the fact that I don’t feel. I want to feel. I want to cry, I want to smile, I want to laugh but I can’t, and it drives me insane. It might be better if I left.”
