His arms were thick and muscular, his hands were adorned with the collection of gold rings. Victor smiled, he blowed out a stream of smoke from his Cuban cigar, a Cohiba Behike. The smoke curled around his face, adding to his aura of danger. Victor signal Josh with his finger to come forward, his eyes was fixed on the photo in Josh's hand. Josh handed it over, and Victor's expression darkened as he studied Lyrien's face. "Ah, yes. I know this one," Victor growled. "He's a thief who once stole from me. A brazen little thing, thinking he could get away with it."

I inhaled deeply as I listened to Victor read, he looked up at me his eyes unreadable before he continued. He cupped one breast, palming it so the pale globe plumped upward. Her nipple contracted and beaded so tight that it sent tiny shards of lightning through her belly. Then he bent and flicked his tongue over the erect nub, and her knees promptly buckled. She landed on the bed with a soft bounce, and he chuckled lightly as he followed her down.

"Then we will keep fighting." Victor shook his head. "You cannot win." "Then we will die trying." Victor looked at Lily. At her green eyes. "Is that what you want? For her to die?" Rex lowered his gun. "What do you want?" Victor reached into his coat. Rex raised the gun again. Victor pulled out a folder. "The names of every investor. Their addresses. Their secrets. Everything." "Why would you give me that?" "Because I want to live."

Victor growled lowly, his voice a gravelly, bedroom-rough purr that vibrated straight through her skin. "I... I was just getting up," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly under the sheer weight of his intense, predatory gaze. Victor didn't reply. Instead, his dark eyes drifted down her body, taking in the sight of her wearing his shirt. The fabric was parted at the top, exposing her pale collarbones, and the hem had risen significantly, leaving her long, creamy legs completely bare. The physical awareness between them rushed back into the room, thick, suffocating, and incredibly heated.

“Well Anabel you don’t have all night.” Victor said rolling his eyes. “If you want Hecta out of you and you want our connection gone, then you should really just do it and get it over with.” He said closing the book. “I am going to go and get the stuff we need, I will be back.” He said disappearing.

“That’s how we win.” --- Across the city, the man known as Victor watched the feed from a private server. Camera hidden in Amara’s apartment—he saw every tear. Every collapse. Every kiss. “You never really left,” he whispered, stroking the edge of the screen. Then he clicked the next file. A new photo. Liam’s face. Target marked. “Now,” he said coldly, “you get to see what losing feels like.”

I ask, taking a deep breath. "This is my beginning," Victor says before he begins. "This is our beginning." Victor grabs a piece of paper and begins to carefully write out his prophecy. I watch as he stops several times and taps the pen against his chin several times presumably trying to remember the exact wording. He holds the piece of paper in his hands and reads it over and over again. He gently blows across the paper trying to dry the ink that is puddled on the paper. Once he is satisfied that it won't smear he carefully folds the paper and hands it to me.
