Virtual Mmo Game 소설 & 이야기

“Am I that obvious?” “Yeah.” She angles her head slightly so she can look at me. “What’s going on in that big alpha brain of yours?” I pause. Not because it’s sensitive information. Just because saying it out loud is like turning a page. “We have a game soon,” I say at last. “Friday night .” She straightened a bit. “Another one?” “Silvermoon,” I say softly.

Only we used to spam each other with game invites during parties while the adults hung out and had adult conversations, we would sit huddled together while playing games over headsets while the adults drank themselves stupid. Echo clash was our favourite game; I still remember when Jeremy thought of the username, he had referenced his sun bleached hair. “I have golden hair, and it rhymes with Grim Reaper.” I stare at the black marble background and I click accept. My old username auto-fills the second I accept. Em_Midnight923 has joined the lobby. Across the room, he looks at me for a while before directing his attention back to his phone. Our chat opens as our avatars drop into the map, mid

"You got to leave this mansion too, that's a blessing in disguise, do you know how much i yearn for a mission right now?" Staying here had been so boring lately, i was the only new guard who hasn't been on a mission yet, the other guards take turns going out with the Boss, i heard from Slade that they even at times engage in fights between mobs, like in the movies, i knew he was exaggerating but i couldn't help but long for the outside, i still had to know how my mum and brother were doing. ***

Meeting in the VR game was very different from seeing each other in person. Many of the newly joined guild members who were diving for the first time did not know how to use the various commands. Most of them only excelled at smacking objects and breaking them. Some of the chattier and brash guild members found themselves becoming disliked by the NPCs.

Even after discussing it for the whole week – and avoiding physically seeing Cecilia at school, and having Axel do the texting to pick a meeting time because I was too nervous – we still hadn’t come up with a game plan for today. I’m standing in the middle of the mall next to the fountain, Bluetooth earpiece in place and covered by the beanie. It’s a good thing it turned out to be really cold today. “I’m not sure I’m ready for this.” I say aloud. Axel’s voice responds to me,

Steel-Fist Predator said calmly but mocked him internally “Steel-fist while what you say makes sense I think Sword-saint still has a point, killing a child just because of such trivialities seems utterly absurd.” Flame-heart predator replied Steel-fist predator with a sneer “It seems Flame-heart has forgotten the history lessons we got when we were still basic Hunters, the only times glass-eyed Hunters appeared, they almost destroyed the entire race single handedly, unless you want a replay of the Great Massacre I’d advise we end the kid to avoid future troubles.” White-haired predator said grimly

Separate notification was popped up in front of the team, "Congratulations you are the first team to clear the first dungeon to be found in the game, the rewards rarity will increase and also there will be extra rewards given to your team" As this was the time when another systems notification popped up, "A team has triggered an instant upgrade of the game, the game will go to an instant upgrade mode and will not be available to play for two days, please log out in 10 minutes".

Scrolling down further, it's the gaming market. In just a few days since the public beta of "Wild Valley World," it has captured 90% of the global gaming market. Its unprecedented popularity and broad audience are unparalleled. It's even hotter than the first holographic game "Ultimatum" from years ago. Many players from other games have lost interest, and some games have even gone bankrupt and closed down. This has attracted numerous capital investments and enterprises, all eager to form guilds within the game.

Their dad, Milo, was laughing. Adrian slightly rolled his eyes and was leaving, but Milo shouted his name and called him over. “Adrian, wait,” Milo said. Adrian reluctantly walked over. “What is it, uncle?” “You should play this virtual reality game,” Milo said. “It makes you walk on thin ropes and jump from one rooftop to another. It’s scarily crazy.” “Did you call me just to say this?” Adrian asked in a bit of a cold voice. “Yeah, your wedding is nearing. It is time for you to be happy and smiling,” Milo said. “If you play this game, it will lift up your mood.”

Being discreet is an essential part of Sierra’s culture. Issues are being avoided like the plague. So, it was important not to get involved in fights and to never ever begin a scene. Battles with ‘ordinary’ people are only to be fought if and only if the other party starts it. Growing up with disguised security around her, this barely happens.
