Like a secret asking to be seen. I pushed it gently. The room wasn’t fully lit. Just a reading lamp in the corner casting soft shadows across the walls. The air was filled with the scent of white roses and cinnamon. The walls were decorated with small paintings. Flowers, a few abstract ones in colors that felt strangely familiar. On a glass shelf, a row of slender books about interior design, a few architecture journals, even a couple of classic novels. And on the side table, a single photo in a silver frame.

arma stared at the painting on the wall. It was mysterious—splashed with multiple colors and brushstrokes that clashed and blended in strange ways. A Viking-like man held a sword, a massive wolf standing proudly by his side. She didn’t understand the painting. In fact, she didn’t understand any of them. For two whole hours, she’d wandered through Raze’s halls, studying every piece of art that lined his walls. She wanted to know why he liked staring at them every morning—or during his walks. Right now, though, they all just looked like nonsense.

After getting ready I ended up sitting down my eyes taking in the beauty of the room, no matter how long I have seen it or been in it, I never get used to it. The walls are adorned with tasteful artwork, ranging from classic oil paintings to contemporary sculptures, all carefully chosen to reflect Demetria'a personal tastes and aesthetic preferences. We walk through the door into a large room, bookshelves lining all but one wall. A door off to the the left, with a staircase going to the second floor next to it. I glance at all the books, seeing too many to count. I look to the wall with no books. A fireplace burns bright in the middle of it with 2 large paintings hanging above it, one a man and one a wolf. My eyes stay glued to the paintings as I study them. One a man, and one a wolf. The man is painted to be tall, full of muslces. Hair blacker than night, with emerald green eyes staring right back at me. I look to the wolf, his fur the same as the mans hair, the saem emerald eyes starieng at me.
