Luckily, nothing seemed broken in them. Taking a breath to steady myself for what I knew was going to be my broken arm, I pulled it in front of me to where it rested in my lap, sucking in a sharp breath as fresh tears filled my eyes when I saw the stark white of the bone protruding from the bloody mess that was my wrist. Panic quickly started setting in as I looked behind me and noticed the amount of blood on the floor surrounding me.

Tessa sighed, exhausted and in pain. She stared at her face in the hospital bathroom mirror, twisted a bit, and lifted her shirt to see her upper back and shoulders. The doctor had said that nothing was broken, but the bruising was something else. Her cheek was a sickly purple, her nose was swollen, and her eyes were tinged with black and green. Her back was a landscape of violet and black, and it hurt when she moved.

I don’t know how long we have been passed out for, but I knew for sure that I was badly injured. My head was bleeding with a dry blood all over my face. It wasn’t too much, but it was something that was making me dizzy. It was dark for a few minutes before I opened my eyes and regained my consciousness. I was still stuck in the car, my head hurt. Luckily, aside from a few scratches on my arms and hands, my head wasn’t bleeding. But it definitely has an inner injury or concussion. I forced my eyes open, trying to look around and see where I was.

Pieces of broken mirror spread across the room and the sound of smashing became louder. Blood flowed from my injured hand, but I didn't care, I broke anything that was in front of my eyes. It was fucking painful insult!

But the ground was trembling so violently that the glass vial slipped from my hand and crashed on the floor, breaking into pieces and spilling her blood. I let out a short scream of frustration and bent down, trying to use my finger to dab up the blood. I managed to get more of the blood on my finger and quickly stood up to press it against the glass that had reappeared. But when I pressed my skin against the glass, I realized I had made a big mistake—some of the broken glass from the vial had gotten stuck on my finger and when I touched the glass, it pierced through my skin, causing my own blood to flow and press on the glass instead.
