Audiobook Crime And Punishment นิยาย & เรื่องราว

I answered with a sly smile on my face. And then he started. I think I found my favorite way of reading my books, and that would be through Damon. Audio books didn't come close. At the first page, he was been all grumpy and dragging the words, but when it got to the part where the female lead walked in on her husband fucking his maid, his entire expression changed. He let out a string of curses at Phillip being an asshole and all sorts of stuff and in a way it felt like he was enjoying the book, more than me.

LENA’S POV There’s a new book on the nightstand. Crime and Punishment. No highlights. No margin notes. No letter back. He took mine and gave me silence in return. “Shit, shit, shit.” I say as I start pacing. Four steps to the window. Four steps back. Four steps to the door. Four steps back again. Did he burn it? Did he throw it in the trash? Did he read it and feel nothing? Anger I can use, I know what to do with anger. I can throw it back.

Once in a while, he would raise his head up and look out the window, watching the activities of the world. "What are you reading?" Alex jumped a bit in his seat, startled by the voice that had spoken. It was Amanda, her eyes were still closed as she spoke, but she had taken out her iPods. "Uh... Never trust a dead man, it's a murder mystery book." He told her. "Never trust a dead man?" She laughed. "Why would you trust someone already dead?" She finally opened her eyes looking over at Alex. "Well, it's... It's hard to explain, the book explains it all."

A laugh came out from inside the room: "Ha-ha luckily you finally came, I was advised by Director Vincent to cooperate with you in this case. I'm Leonard, deputy captain of the city A police department, nice to work with you” He entered to the surprise of the police. A female police officer shouted: “Could it be that he is Albert, the famous criminal psychologist detective who has solved many difficult cases. I still have his book The Punisher here. The book is about the tough murders he has solved, including his analysis of the psychology of criminals in detail. I didn't expect him to be so young and handsome."

"That's a lot." "That's Dostoevsky: every page he writes is pregnant with meaning. That's why I love him." I smiled down at her. "I'll give you Crime and Punishment next, and then The Idiot." "One Russian crisis at a time, please!" I laughed and turned back to the ceiling. She set the book on the nightstand and took her glasses off, folding them on top of it, and then joined me back on the bed. "August?" "Yeah."

The sound doesn’t exactly drown out the pecking voice, but I can kind of focus on the narrator, and it really helps the day go by better. I like mysteries and psychological thrillers, but only if they’re written and narrated by women. If a woman’s reading it, I can listen to the most grotesque crime scene descriptions and think nothing of it, but if it’s read by a man, I can’t handle it. I can’t explain it, but I don’t have to, either, if I don’t bring it up, and I’m not one to ever start conversations.

He continued toward the bus, climbing the stairs, leaving Ellie to stare after him in surprise. Ellie climbed back on the bus, avoiding Jake's gaze and finding her seat in the last row. She pulled out her chips, opened the bag, and put her headphones back in. Her mood hadn't improved much so she found a new classic audiobook. Ah, yes, there it was, Dickens always had a dreary narrative to fit her mood, a perfect fit following her upsetting realization that she would quite literally never escape the world of wolves. She turned the book on and stared out the window:

he ends with a huge grin. “Now shall we?” He gestures at the entrance of the mall. (Next morning) “Good morning, Jack! I went to your room and you weren’t there. I figured you’d be here since you’ve been spending time in your study these days,” Jerry states. Quiet I remain for a heartbeat. Then I begin: “I’ve come to love this book: Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It’s intriguing.” “You never read. Not once. In school and after. You found it boring. It was okay since it never came to bite you in the ass.” Jerry chuckles, then continues,

I left Aaron for the meantime on the part where the fountain pens are to go to the novel section. Since I saw Sophie Lark's Brutal Prince on TikTok's recommendation, people who have read this say that it has a strong female lead. I enjoy books of that genre, therefore I may be interested in reading it. I looked at the shelves. I also picked up a book and read the synopsis on the back when Aaron came to me here. "You like reading books?" he asked. I turned my eyes on him, "Uh, sometimes. If I'm interested in the plot," I answered.

I wasn’t even sure if he’d gotten everything settled with his frat brothers when he drove me to the airport in the morning. I tried to let those thoughts fade away while on my flight home. I put in my earbuds and decided to listen to one of the smutty werewolf audio books Hana has gotten me hooked on, Alpha Gray by CJ Primer, with Theo and Maddie as narrators. The book is HOT, and Theo’s voice… yeah, it makes for an enjoyable two-and-a-half-hour flight. I love how he changes his voice when speaking for each Alpha. Hana told me they’ve done the narration for the rest of the series, and I can’t wait to listen.
