Pure Blood: The Vampire's Fate

Pure Blood: The Vampire's Fate

“But I won't be able to be selfish by drinking your blood, Alexis. No longer. However your safety is now in my hands. As my responsibility, whatever and however, I will always protect you. And I hope you can understand, not to run away from me anymore. And also I will try not to thirst for your blood anymore. That is my promise to you.” "Then promise me." Alexis muttered with a dreamy look at Adrian there. Alexis stretched out her palm by showing her little finger. Adrian looked confusedly at Alexis. Totally not understanding what Alexis meant right now there. “Promise me, to always protect me. Although I have absolutely no idea what you and I need to avoid now or in the future.” continued A

Pride and Promises

Pride and Promises

I’m certainly not proposing you this way or this soon despite how much I want to (just so you know, I’m dead serious about proposing to you someday, just not today) This is a promise ring (I believe that’s what they call these days) I give you this ring to say that I’m so in love with you and that I promise to make you the happiest person in the world. I know you don’t love me yet but that’s okay. You said you trust me with your life and I promise that I’ll do anything to keep that trust. I just hope you don’t lose faith in me, ever. I’ve made a lot of promises to you over the years since our childhood. I’ve kept every one of them and I intend to keep them all – new and old.

Promised to the Alpha

Promised to the Alpha

I stared down at my mother and father, Luna Ashly’s words coming back into my mind: “My dear Laura, I promised your mother that I would keep you safe. I promised your father that no harm would come to you… There are some things I can never tell you… the promises I made both of them prohibit it.” I stared so long at them both trying desperately to understand what this meant that I did not notice Domini approach me. “Laura?” He asked touching my shoulder softly, I jumped and turned around to scold him. “Don’t sneak up on me! You almost gave me a panic attack!” Domini smirked for a moment before noticing the photo album in my hands. “What’s that?” He asked as he made a move to grab it from my h

So if this is Book 1 and 2??? What and where is the second book. I’ve read until chapter 59. The comments at the end asking about when the next chapter will be posted are all from 2months ago. Is this it?

This book is an excellent read so far but it is supposed to be book 1 and book 2. There have been no updates on this story in a long time, that is true. Has anyone found out if anything is wrong with the author? It should be one of the questions asked.

A Reluctant Promise

A Reluctant Promise

He walked alone out of the hotel and along the winding mountain path, signaling the driver to head further up the hills. Autumn had transformed the once-green mountains into a vibrant patchwork of orange, red, and yellow. The wind swept through the trees, loosening the last leaves, which floated and danced down to the roadside, eventually landing on the windshield. Looking at the fallen leaves, Dominic signaled the driver to pull up to the side and roll down the window. The cold wind rushed inside, pulling his hair from his eyes and revealing his red-rimmed gaze. A wave of pain rose in his throat, and he hastily closed his eyes.

First Bite

First Bite

She squeezed Autumn’s hand, needing the reassurance that this moment was real, that she hadn’t been left behind in the visions. “I am.” “I saw…” “I know.” Autumn touched her hand gently. “The Crown’s bleeding through. It’s showing things—past, future, maybe neither.” “Is that what’s going to happen?” Autumn’s eyes flickered. “I don’t know,” she said. “But if it does… I won’t let it happen alone.” Her voice was quiet, but there was steel in it—a promise forged in fire and loss. Jade blinked hard. “Then you’re really going to wear it?”

The Breaking of Promises Under the Aurora

The Breaking of Promises Under the Aurora

He took my shoe and sock off, inspected the injury before saying softly, “It’s okay. It’s just a sprain.” His face was still so young, but there was something about the way he acted that felt far beyond his years. Suddenly, he saw my red birthmark. “That’s so pretty,” he said, making me blush as I quickly looked down. Just then, my mother found me. As we were leaving, Christopher called out from behind me. “We have to come back and see the aurora again someday! My name’s Christopher Smith!” We always thought we could easily keep the promises made when we were young.

Blurred Promises

“I just wanted to know if you're okay, yesterday you were a bit... “Don't worry, I'm brand new. “I smiled and looked at his hands, trying to read the title of the book, but the veins outlined in his hands took my focus away, making me think about what those hands were capable of doing. “I brought you these books... “Jackson showed them to me, then handed them to me. ““Fate” and “dog on board” “I murmured, looking at the titles and names of the authors. “Destiny is by the author Rivers Mandson, it is a book that helped me a lot at times, it involves connection, the law of attraction” Jackson explained, making it clear that he understood that yesterday I went through a terrible situation and n

Fractured Promises

He looked at her and she immediately took that as a sign to step in. “Claire, we have to make sure grandmama is in good health first before everything else, okay? We’ll go on the beach trip once everything’s settled,” She assured her despite her not knowing if will even fall through. “You promise?” She gave both of them the puppy eyes. Kai licked his lips, briefly glancing at her before looking at their daughter with a smile on his face. “Promise, my love.” Then she looked at her mom who’s watching them, not knowing how to react.

Promises in the Grave

Promises in the Grave

He gazed at the girl who had turned him down time and again, looking at him with eyes that seemed to plead for something more. A wild sense of triumph surged through him. However, the regret came crashing down soon after. Janet held him close, whispering that she would not blame him for anything. However, Alfred could not shake the guilt. He had promised his life to me, but ended up hurting his childhood love. That explained the fury in his eyes when he caught me picking on Janet. He never imagined I would catch him in the act with Janet, that my suspicions were not just misunderstandings. I had witnessed his betrayal firsthand.

Twice Marked,Twice Loved

Twice Marked,Twice Loved

“I think… this is what freedom costs.” Levi dragged a hand through his hair. “A world without gods,” he muttered. “And something older judging us.” Autumn looked out at the forest, heart pounding—not with fear alone, but resolve. “Then we don’t give them a reason,” she said. “No secrets. No tyrants. No sacrifices.” She turned back to the wolves—Silver, Lockwood, rebels, survivors. “This time,” she said, voice carrying, “we choose each other.” The moon shone silently overhead.
