Blurry Eyes When I Wake Up Novels & Stories

Nothing deep or serious enough to cause any scar. I would have to give it to whoever did the work for knowing just what to do, because when I opened my eyes, I didn’t feel any head pain or even a headache. The blurry sight was as a result of keeping my eyes shut for a while. From the brightness of the weather outside, I could tell that it was already dawn, although I couldn’t tell what time it was. Right now, I didn’t feel any pain, but I just wanted to lay here and try to get rid of all my head thought about when I was passed out.

Lucy’s eyelids fluttered open, the world around her a blur of colors and shapes. For a moment, she struggled to make sense of where she was, her mind still clouded by the remnants of the dream—or was it a nightmare? She couldn’t tell. Her head throbbed like it was being hit by a hard object. Her body felt like it was weighed down by a thousand stones. She blinked rapidly, trying to focus her vision, the edges of her surroundings gradually sharpening into view.

My vision starts to get blurry black dots started to appear in front of my eyes. I heared veer telling me to not close my eyes but I felt my eyes shut and darkness engulfed me..

WREN’S POV I woke up to an ache behind my eyes, a dull and throbbing weight pressing down on my skull that made it feel twice as heavy. My face felt stiff, my skin tight and when I rubbed a hand over my cheek, I realized it was swollen. Puffy. I blinked against the morning light with confusion curling through me. Had I been… crying? Why was I even crying in the first place? I’m not usually a cryer like this. What on earth is happening to me?

Alyssa's POV. I woke up with a cold due to lying down on the cold hard floor. My whole body feels sore and it hurts when I move my neck. My eyelids are glued shut as if trying to block out the pain I felt, yet they wouldn't budge even an inch. There’s no sound in the room and I have this feeling of suffocation that I can’t get rid of, so I try to focus my eyes. My vision is blurry because of tears forming at the corners of my eyes as I remembered everything that happened last night.

Suddenly he room started to blur. I realize that I was starting to wake up.

My vision blurs “I… I think so.” I hear people rushing toward us, shouting. Sirens wail in the distance. My eyelids feel heavy. I try to stay awake, but the world around me blurs and the voices fade into nothing. Then, darkness. - When I wake, the harsh fluorescent lights of the hospital burn my eyes. A dull ache throbs in my arm, but I can tell nothing is broken. My head is pounding, though, and the sheets beneath me are proof that I’m not at home. I sigh, running a hand through my hair as I adjust to my surroundings.

I blinked to clear the blurriness that was creeping into my vision as I focused on the task in front of me. I was just exhausted. The events from yesterday, and the fact that I didn’t get enough sleep, were contributing to it. I kept working, scrubbing faster when my vision blurred again. This time, I couldn’t ignore how dizzy I felt. The clothes slipped from my grip as I tried to steady myself, but everything tilted before me. And then, everything went black.

The first thing I remember is laying on that bed with my arms flat against my sides and how difficult it felt trying to open my eyes. I felt as if I needed help opening my eyes. And when I did open them, it required energy to open them up again after each blink. What I saw was blurry. Silhouettes of people gathered around me. I didn't see their faces clearly, but I could sense that they were agitated, turning to their sides and looking at one another from time to time.

Brightness. Brightness penetrated into my eyes and forced me to open them when I really didn't want to wake up, I felt like sleeping more. I had to blink several times and rubbed my eyes with the back of my palm before I could see anything clearly. I didn't want to wake up and I wouldn't have woken up if not of the light that poked my eyes like I was being stung by an insect.
