I drop my phone and walk to get a glass of water, when it's starts ringing again i angrily storm towards it and without looking at the caller ID

I had no power and I could not even compete against a dead person. The sound of my own voice started to feel like a mockery to my very person. I didn't know why I did that but I picked up my phone and made a call. The familiar annoying crackly voice sounded and Cayden's face came on the screen. “You are calling me? I don't do refunds.” Cayden said immediately the call was connected. “Oh shut up, when we are done with this conversation, you are going to wish I called you earlier.” I shot back at him.

Me: "Hey, babe, sorry had to make a call." Ann: "It's fine." She said , still giving me attitude Me: "I called my assistant. He'll be there shortly with two bodyguards. They'll bring your dinner." I hang up the upcoming call on my phone for the umpteenth time this morning before I decide to just switch it off. Today's got to be perfect. I can't afford distractions.
