Chapter 131 – Judgment Day The courtroom buzzed with tension, each seat occupied by figures cloaked in anticipation and dread. The air was thick with the scent of polished wood and legal bravado, but it was the palpable sense of justice finally on the brink of being served that held the room in its thrall. Clara Vale could feel the weight of countless eyes upon her as she stepped forward to testify. She had never been one to seek the spotlight, but today was different. Today was the day she would confront the man who had turned her life into a chaotic storm: Richard Banks.

Regina did a quick scan and realized she's right, it's just them(Hills, Colin, Daphne, Mirabelle, Hills and I), the judge and lawyers from both parties that are here.

In the front of the courtroom the judge was speaking. Legal language. Process and timeline and the machinery of justice moving the way it was supposed to move. Damon sat in the middle of all of it and felt something he hadn’t felt in six years. Not resolution. Not peace. Not the clean ending of something.

CULLEN’s POV The rain poured heavily. The dark clouds loomed above, seething with fury. I sipped my bittersweet coffee as the Death Note on my desk began to glow faintly. I reached out and took it in my hand. An unfamiliar name appeared, along with the details of death. “Clark Stephen Daniel,” I muttered with a sigh. “Your time has come. I’m coming to collect,” I whispered, my voice void of warmth. It was time to reap his soul. The details were clear—he would die tonight, inside a nightclub.

We approached a massive double door that had a huge balance scale carved onto the door. "Right this way, Lady Beta, Luna." Dylan said bowing as he opened the doors for us. Mom and I walked into the courtroom, and Lydia was already sitting at the table in the middle of the floor in front of the massive desk where the Alpha and other important ranks will sit. Two warriors stood on each side of Lydia to keep her seated so she couldn't make a break for it. I didn't get to see Lydia's face, but judging from the dullness of her blonde hair, I'm going to say her complexion doesn't look so great.

"Just wait a bit." Daniel said with a worried expression. Chris furrowed his eyebrows as he turned to Daniel's preoccupation in front of him to find Damiontree standing in front of Kourtney knowing that a fight was about to happen and he was like a 'sexy, girls fight' so he decided to watch in silence maybe one of them would get stripped. Courtney bent down to take her arrows and bow. Whoever can hit the most darts in the middle of the board wins. Damontry smiled beside him, before swearing.
