SADE Time went by fast and before I knew it, two weeks had gone by, not loudly, not dramatically, just quietly enough to hurt more than I expected. Because when time moved without anything changing, it starts to feel personal, like it’s choosing to ignore you on purpose, and that was precisely how those days felt to me as I kept showing up at my station every morning, tying my hair back, laying out my materials, pretending I was fine when I was anything but.
