My blade was at his throat. "Yield," I ordered. "Never." "Then die." But before I could strike— a flash of silver whipped through the air. A dart. Poison. Aimed for me. Alpha Tristan moved faster than thought. He took the hit. Dropped. "ALPHA TRISTAN!" I caught him. His lips already turning blue. Dante vanished into smoke. My screams ripped the valley apart. Back at camp. Alpha Tristan writhed. "Hold him!" Lydia shouted. "We need more bloodwort!"

"She’s right, Maria. You did mention the poison first. And honestly? I’m enjoying the show. Dr. Vale has a very...surgical approach to interrogation. It would be a shame to interrupt." The nanny let out a sob, realizing that her "long service" meant nothing to a man like Dante. In this world, loyalty was a currency that could be cancelled at any moment. I turned my attention back to the table. The scalpel was a fine tool, but it was meant for targeting, not for intimidation. I reached over and picked up a heavy, serrated hunting knife. The nanny’s eyes widened until I could see the whites all the way around. She started to thrash against the ropes, her breath panicked.

Khalil explained. A loud screech from behind and up ahead caused us to pause. "Doesn't look like they're giving us much of a choice though," Abeel said, halting. The wraiths closed in from both sides. I tightened my grip on the twin blades, an eerie calm settling over me. The first wraith lunged at me, its shadowy tendrils reaching for my soul. With a swift spin, I deflected its advance, blades slashing through the darkness. The wraith vanished just before my blade touched it, leaving in its wake, a mossy mess.

Hayley took the photo and looked at it. “What is this girl's name? Do you have any other information about this girl? I need additional information to find it," said Hayley. “Her name is Frey… Frey.” I repeated the name, Frey. I would like to mention Frey's full name. However, I had a feeling they would find Frey a vampire if I mentioned Drucilla's name here. “She left the town of Linnea around three in the morning,” I added.

Aidan held his palms up, "you trying to say you didn't do anything like that, you trying to say you weren't ready to give it up for Iris?" I shut my mouth, saying nothing, knowing he was hitting the truth. "Let me tell you something, Tristan. The difference between Atlas and me was that I had a plan; Atlas didn't. He had a rethink and chuckled, "Actually, I've taken silver mystic; guess where's next?" He pushed the knife down, creating a small but deep slit, causing me to grit my teeth, "Vampire clan."

Her odd color eyes were staring blankly at her. She had the red pendant around her neck on a rose gold chain. "The vessel," Harlow said, walking towards her, but the girl stepped back. "I'm not going to hurt you. I just need the vessel." Harlow said in a calm voice. The girl nodded, then removed the necklace. She slowly held out her hand towards Harlow. "Katrina no!" The warlock managed out. Harlow rolled her eyes, "would you shut up?" "She's a vampire," he grunted.

My name is Elora and I reside at the Blue Mountain Packhouse. I have a slim figure, long curly blonde hair which I usually wear up in a bun so it is out of my face. My eyes are a deep blue which I love. I am not a normal girl though. You see I am a shewolf, my rank at the packhouse is an omega. I don’t know my parents because they passed away when I was just a tiny baby, so I don’t have any memories of them. The only thing I have is a necklace locket from my mother. And of course, the ancient weapons immediately sensed the demon’s presence channeling through my body, and the metal edges began to gleam with a sinister red light. Tethys’s feeling of absolute triumph surged through my veins like a lethal poison. But as I looked closer at the velvet lining, I realized one of the blades was missing. The last blade, the specific one that Manolya always kept close to her person for protection, wasn’t in the box.

He saw himself—older, bleeding, knees on ash-covered ground, clutching a blade etched with divine runes. The sky was burning red. The air smelled like metal and rot. Lucian was fighting something in the distance. So was Kai. So was Dorian. Bodies littered the streets—some human, some monstrous. He couldn’t tell what side anyone was on. And at the center stood Tristan. Eyes pitch black. His smile wide, bloody, and unnatural. Beside him, cloaked in shadows, was Luca—horns now grown from his skull, red markings coiled around his arms like serpents.

"Should I make you bleed right here?" Trinity's eyes widened when she felt a sharp blade pressed against her neck. Stefano was no longer on the ground with Sylas. He was already behind her. "Leaving your friend behind is surely your thing," Trinity said, trying to keep her calm. Stefano paid a glance at Sylas, who kept fighting the army of undead. Despite being outnumbered, Sylas easily killed the army of the undead one by one and continued fighting without fear. "Nothing can kill that man easily," Stefano said. "That's why I chose him as my executioner."
