SERENA Fear is a thing. Most people do not understand it. They think fear is loud noises and violence. That is not true fear. True fear is quiet. It is the feeling that makes people stop talking when you walk into a room. It is what makes powerful men look down when they see you. It is what makes servants shake when they are serving you. Fear does not need to be loud or violent. It just needs to be certain. Stormclaw is certainly afraid of me.

You're stronger than this. There was one thing in this world that I was most afraid of, and that's death. I'm scared of everything related to death. I hate going to funerals. I hate the sad people who go to funerals. I hate the dress code. I hate how people look at each other with mixed emotions. It was surprising how it was easily acquired;by the loudest of sounds, by the slightest of sounds and by even no sound at all. It had stunned the children, shaken them to their bone marrows.

Her brain was trying to force her not to scream nor run away, it will make her in the place of danger. But she can't. Emily has huge fears about strange things. She always screams every time she watches a horror movie, every second of it. Experiencing it now herself is even much more blood-curdling. Emily is a naive girl. Jax looked at me with a serious expression. “Of course I do! I wasn’t born yesterday! It means when you’re scared of something, like I fear my father for example.” I through my hands up in the air. Jax chuckled and took my face in his hands softly making me look directly at him. “No honey. The word fear is more of an acronym.” I scrunched my face up in confusion. “Ok now you got me 38 shades of confuzzled fucked. Explain yourself.” Jax laughed and dropped his hands. “You’ve been hanging around Alida WAY to long hun. She’s rubbing off on you.” He said as he got up to get a pen and paper.

Taylor explained and now I am a little concerned , "Does that mean someone has done that on purpose? like locking you in the dark? Rayle asked suspiciously but I denied that possibility, I mean why would someone do such a horrible prank with me? I haven't been in a fight with anyone other than Xavier and he was the saviour of mine this time so... and besides no one here actually knows about my fear, that I can't stay in a locked room or dark. I looked up at Ronan in absolute shock, my mouth hanging open as cold sweat broke out across the back of my neck and trickled down my spine.
