Reluctantly, I slipped the ring onto my finger. A warm glow enveloped me, and a strange sensation coursed through my body. Before I could react, my form shifted. My short, stocky dwarf frame stretched and transformed, my rough features softening. When the glow faded, I caught my reflection in a nearby pot and gasped. I was… human. Well, half-human, half-dwarf, with a taller frame, smoother skin, and a face that wasn’t half bad, if I do say so myself.
