Not alone. ***

I do not know who I will become. I do not know what waits for me. I do not know how much fear is still inside me. But I know this one thing now. I am not alone. And for the first time in my life, this is not a promise. It is a feeling.

I'm alone now or so I thought. "Love, I'm waiting"

And I didn’t feel alone. Not anymore.

But a new feeling— one not born from pain, but from someone finally daring to believe: You're not always alone.

No one is coming after me. I slow once I realize that. No one is coming after me. No enemy is coming after me. No one who cares about me is coming after me either. The ones I love don’t want to see if I’m okay. Whatever I did must have been so horrifying that no one dares come near me. No one wants me near them.
