I woke up in my room. A cloth was on my fore head. It was super cold. I took it off and sat up. My head began to swim. I felt queasy. “Easy…you’ve been out for hours.” Sil’s face swam to view. “Huh, that was not even a nice sleep.” I shook my head clearing the dancing colors. I blinked three times. My vision was still fuzzy. I looked around. Sil was sitting on the computer chair. She looked tired. My clock told me it was five in the morning.

"Hiss, I feel so dizzy!" Amanda experienced pain throughout her entire body, accompanied by a severe headache. It wasn't until she shifted slightly that she realised her head was resting on a strong, muscular arm. A wave of shock hit Amanda as if she had plunged into a vortex, leaving her in a dazed state. When she turned around, she discovered Dickson peacefully sleeping beside her.

Zipporah snuggled her cheeks on warm tough pillows, her neck felt well stationed and she didn’t want to wake up from her comfort spot. The only problem was the thumbing and imbalance her brain felt. It was almost like her bed was walking on a treadmill. She groaned when her knees refused to stretch and her legs felt too light and weak.

Smelling the aroma of the food, Jessica realized that Terry had cooked dinner. She clicked her tongue and said, "What time did you come back? Why didn't you call me?" She said it and then tapped her head. I fell asleep at around three in the afternoon and slept until half past six. I slept for more than three hours, and my head still felt heavy. Terry brought the dishes out from the kitchen and saw her rubbing her temples. "Headache?" Jessica nodded and didn't hide it from him, "I felt a little dizzy when I woke up in the morning."

He groaned as he tried to raise his head up, it felt very heavy as he could barely lift it on his own. His vision was hazy, everything looked and felt foggy like a huge cloud of dust and fog was covering his eyes. His head kept lolling back and forth as he tried to keep it steady, the whole room was spinning, as if he was sitting on a ferris wheel and someone was pushing him, but this felt much more intense and worse, his head was heavy and light at the same time.

I have not had to actively control my breathing in this manner since the last time I had the flu. From the left side of the bed, I roll to the right, trying to find the right area of the room where the air is thinner and more likely to enter into my nostrils with minimal effort. When the right side of the bed isn’t any different, I place my head on the foot of the bed and raise my legs up on the wall. Then I realize that that this position is against gravity and may be counterproductive so I roll off the bed and sit beside it with my head in my hands trying to breathe as my chest rises and falls. I am in complete distress.

However, as she sat through her first class, a wave of dizziness washed over her, causing her vision to blur and her head to spin. Mama Hazel tried to shake off the feeling, attributing it to lack of sleep and stress. But as the day progressed, she began to feel increasingly unwell. A persistent headache, nausea, and fatigue weighed her down, making it difficult for her to concentrate on her studies. By the time her last class ended, Mama Hazel knew something was seriously wrong.

I’ll have to wait till they adjust. While I wait, I lift my head. It feels strange. It feels like it’s put on wrong. It’s not sitting straight. Did I sleep on it funny? I shift my head back on my neck, and I feel it. Something is wrong. My head feels heavy, and I sense the soft headache trying to form over my eyebrow. It’s the beginning of a migraine. But I swallow as I don’t want to dwell on that thought. I only breathe in the smell. It smells so good. I see the glass when I sit up a little.

I woke up with a dull pain in my head. I lazily massaged my temples, feeling a little bump there. Something is wrong. I can just feel it. I raised my nose in the air, taking a big whiff of the air. The air is heavy and damp, pressing against my skin like a clammy shroud. Where am I? Most importantly, whose bed am I lying on?

She was asleep. She was softly whimpering as if she was still in pain and her head was tilting in the wrong position. So I slowly put her head down on the seat and her legs up, so that she lay straight on the seat. She was warm, most probably she had a fever, that would explain the headache. It seems I was right, she is still unwell. She was a deep sleeper, she didn't even move, when I relocated her.
