I was about halfway finished stitching this man's arm on when I felt the night my master give me back control. I instantly dropped the needle and thread in my hands and went to the sink. Before I could turn it on and scrub myself raw, a hand gripped my shoulder. I flinched instantly because I should have been the only living thing down here, and instantly I was back as my 10-year-old self who had accidentally reanimated a corpse for the first time.
