I swallow the lump forming in my throat as the priest asks me to come to the center of the stage. I walk over to the center, everyone’s eyes fixed on me and the priest motions for me to kneel. A servant steps forward carrying an elegant velvet cushion. Resting upon it is a breathtaking crown. White gold woven into twisting vines. The priest carefully lifts the crown. "This crown represents strength." He places it just above my head. "Wisdom." It lowers another inch. "Compassion." It settles gently against my hair. "And the promise that the Queen shall protect this kingdom with both justice and love."

V7 POV " Shinigami the Queen has been expecting you, this way please." A Royal servant bows to me before gesturing me to follow him down the hallway to the Throne Room. A huge room with just 3 fancy chairs, I never could understand why only royalty gets to sit down. If anyone deserves a seat it should be the people since a Queen is just a fancy title for a servant that serves everyone in the kingdom. I don't understand why a servant dedicated to an entire Kingdom gets to live better than the people they serve while other servants are dedicated to one person, they are forced to live worst than their master. Humans are just weird.
